Chapter 4 - Khan And Ebrahim Family

Third Person Pov

Everyone in the Khan family was rushing to get done as they have to leave to the Ebrahim Mansion for the dinner they were invited to. Sierra sitting on the floor and looking at everyone rushing from on side to another trying to get done.

"Come Papa little munchkin let's get you dressed otherwise mama will be angry with us." Azlan said to his 2 year old daughter

Sierra squeeled in happiness when she saw her father.
"Papa.. Papa"
"Yess my little munchkin."
"Wats evryne doin" asked a curious Sierra

"We are going to visit your soon to be Chachi"

"Dani" squeeled Sierra

"Come, Come everyone it's already 6:30 if we want to get there by 7:00 let's leave now." Taimoor said out loud so they can all hear.

"Azlan what is this Sierra isnt ready as yet, go and get her ready. Where is Zohaib?" said Taimoor

Taimoor Khan is very punctual man he does not like to turn late to any important events in they life.

"Jee, papa I am going to give Tasneem Sierra to get her ready and I'm going to check up on Zohaib as well. Last I checked Zain was with him." said Azlan

"Alright, come fast."

" I am ready Papa" Zahra said running down the stairs
"Me too Papa" Zohaib said following Zahra down the stairs.
"Even the groom to be is ready." Taimoor said
"Bhai can't wait to see Bhabi." Zahra said and everyone burst out in laughter.
"Come now let's leave before we get late." said Zaynab

Everyone left for the Ebrahim household.

As the Khan family left for the Ebrahim household the Ebrahim family was busy running around and preparing for the guests to arrive as they are should be arriving anytime soon.

The Entire Ebrahim family came out to greet the Khan family. But someone kept giving side glance to the person who is standing not so far away from them.

"Assalamualaikum, Aamir how are you my friend."

"Wslms Taimoor my friend Alhamdulilah I am well and you."

"Alhamdulilah all is well cant complain." Taimoor said.
"Assalamualaikum Aunty and Uncle how are you doing?" Zahra greeted and hugged Madeeha.
"Wslms Zahra Alhamdulilah I am well." Madeeha said while hugging her back.
"Wslms, Alhamdulilah I am well." Aamir replied to her greeting.

"Aadil beta how are you." Taimoor asked while giving him a hug.

"Assalamualaikum Uncle, Alhamdulilah I am well and you uncle?"
"Wslms beta, Alhamdulilah I am well. When did you come back?"
"This morning uncle"

I looked towards my side and I saw him greeting my father and I saw him for the first time after 4 years. I didnt expect he would be coming back.

Zahra, what are you thinking obviously he would come for his youngest sister wedding.

It was dinner time and everyone sat down to eat. They were all engaged in their conversations. Until Taimoor Khan and Aamir Ebrahim decided to speak up about they children upcoming wedding.

"Alright, everyone listen up. Since Daniella and Zohaib have decided they don't want to do a engagement but they will have the nikkah instead." Taimoor said

"We thought of having the Nikkah next weekend and the walima will be followed thereafter." Aamir said.

"How will we get everything ready in such short notice." Madeeha said Aaminah then spoke up "what about the other functions this is such short notice. "

"Zohaib had came to us before the dinner and requested if we could do things simple. Dani and him didn't want a big wedding." said Aamir

"Mama and Ami we can have all the functions that is necessary next week. Zohaib and I discussed that we don't want a big wedding but a simple wedding Plus it's sunnah to have a simple wedding." said Daniella

"I agree with Dani Bhabi. I think it's amazing for the couple to have a simple wedding and besides people only come for the food." said Zahra

Everyone laughed at Zahra comment

"What it's true they only come for the food and then they comment on the brides outfit, the food. Yet, they still come and eat the food. " said Zahra

Everyone laughed and Aadil decided to speak up "I agree with Zahra with this. People only come with for the food and to gossip. It's better to have the wedding simple."

"Come out everyone the Khan family is here let's go and welcome them." Mama said running out to go greet her friends.

I walked out to greet Dani future in laws and that's when I saw her after 4 years. My breath hitched when I saw her she looks so different, she still looks as beautiful as she is. Astaghfirullah what am I thinking. I quickly lowered my gaze.

"Aadil beta how are you." Taimoor asked while giving him a hug.

"Assalamualaikum Uncle, Alhamdulilah I am well and you uncle?"
"Wslms beta, Alhamdulilah I am well. When did you come back?"

"This morning uncle"

We were all eating dinner and I then caught a glimpse of Zahra laughing away and making jokes.

"Zahra how's studies going" Mom asked her.
"It's good alhamdulilah aunty."
"Is it your final year med school right?"
"Jee"

"Med school?" I asked
"Our Zahra is becoming a doctor" Mom told me.
"Congratulations" I told her.

I didn't know she was studying to become a doctor she always wanted to be a business woman.

When Uncle and Dad were talking about the wedding Dani and Zohaib wanting it to be simple and when Zahra said about people only coming for the food and gossip. I couldn't help but laugh. She is so sweet, innocent and bubbly I hope she stays that way always.
