Chapter 17- Make A Deal

" Who is Zy ? " Wayne asked

" There is another camp,north of ours at the end of the city limits. She is their leader." said Ashton

" She can help us ?" Asked Wayne

" Sometimes we make deals with them. " Ashton replied

" Deals ?What kind of deals ? " Wayne asked again

" There are other survivors, other communities, other camps, not just us. We sometimes help each other. Trade things."

" Our camp is in the city, so we scavenge whatever we can like medicines, hospital equipments, lights, fuel etc... "

" And we trade them with Zy's camp for guns, ammunitions, shields. " Said Samuel

" I still don't understand how she can help us. " said Wayne

" Well.....her camp is situated in a secret bunker created by the government. And they have control over some pretty serious locations including a nuclear power plant." Said Samuel

" But what's the cost ? I don't think anyone will give you anything free in this world. " Wayne knew there is a catch

" We don't tell them anything. " Said Samuel

" Yeah sure, then what are we going to say ? We need plutonium for cooking ?" Wayne said sarcastically

" She will have a say in our plan if we tell her about it. And then it's just a matter of time before she takes control of everything." Said Samuel

" Then what do we do ? "

" What choice do we have ? "

" We need to find a good reason. What are the other uses for plutonium ? " Asked Sara

" Mostly used for nuclear power, or weapons. " Said Christopher

They all stood there confused and thinking about alternative options.

" How about a different approach ? " Asked Wayne

" What do you mean ? " Samuel knew what was Wayne about to say.

" Make them handover the plutonium " Said Wayne

" You mean by threatening them ? " Samuel looked at Wayne

" Yeah " Wayne replied

" You must understand that they are highly experienced soldiers with heavy weapons and they are in a impenetrable facility which can withstand any sorts of attacks including nuclear weapons."

" They are already aware of the crash. Within minutes, she contacted me, but they hadn't a clue what it was." Samuel explained

" What did you say to them ?" Asked Wayne

" I told her that we will check it out, I haven't contacted her since. " Samuel replied

" We need a way. We can't even get close without their permission. " said Ashton

" You can't, but I can. I can get in. The drones. " Wayne pointed up

" Then we are going to a war with them. In couple of days they will wipe us out. " Said Ashton

" But they don't know anything about me or that we are working together. "

" I have a plan. I'll walk into their domain and act like a wanderer. I'll let them capture me and then improvise. " said Wayne
