A/N: Hello and welcome to the second part of our attack of the umbrella base and near the end something strange happens but I am not letting anything get past me so you will have to wait till the end also there is one more chapter left in season 1 of this book and my ideas for the second are just coming at me. So without further ado onto chapter 9 enjoy.
1st person pov
After I gave Claire the signal to get everyone ready to get out of there I see her say something to a little girl and I am curious and has got me thinking "could that be sherry berkin" as I am watching a guard starts to harass her and I go over and tell the guard "if you don't back off her dad won't be happy" at the mention of the girls dad the guard looks scared and backs off Wesker see this and tells me "take the girl back to her house" I nod and as I about to leave I look at Chris who looks ready to kill but does not do anything yet.
As me and the little girl who I presume is sherry walk back to her house I find somewhere secluded where no guard can see us and i ask the girl "are you sherry berkin?" As sherry looks at me it seems like she does not understand how I don't know who she is but after a few seconds she nods and I take of my disguise and sherry realises who I am and gives me a big hug and says are you here to save us and take me back to my mum I nod after the hug is over and she smiles but at that very moment I hear gun's being shot and sigh Chris had broke the plan.
Bruna pov
As I see Michael walk away with sherry I see Chris raise his gun at Wesker who's back was turned and I can tell he is about to shoot I try and reach him but it is to Kate the gun goes of but Wesker avoids it and says "I know who shoots like that Chris is that you" Chris I irate that Wesker knew it was him we take the disguise off and the guns go off I immediately kill two guards and run off to tell Claire to have a gun ready because we are shooting our way out. As I am running to where Claire is a bullet just misses my head and I look around and shoot the guard who tried to kill me.
As I get to where Claire is I see her trying to help a very injured man Claire looks at me and says "please help me this is Leon and he is my boyfriend". (A/N yes Chris knows about Claire and Leon being together) As I give Leon a look over I see words carved into his skin words like "you caused this" "you are no cop" and to top it off and nearly make me puck the words "coward" and "freak" I look around murderously and I immediately help Claire get Leon up and as we get out I see Michael in cover with sherry and Chris and the rest of our group.
1st person pov
A few moments earlier
As me and sherry hear the gun shots go off I say "fucking Chris" just as I say that him and the rest of our group come running over I immediately say "what happened" Chris looks at me and says "I had the perfect chance to kill him" I shake my head and say "alright" as I look over the group I realise that one person is missing and ask Chris "where is bruna?" He looks around and says last time I saw her she was of to go and help Claire with something just at that moment I hear a door open and bruna with Claire and a very injured Leon with words carved into him come to our cover at that moment Chris me and bruna all look murderous but also I hear a very quiet crying of a baby over the gun shots I ask "does anyone else hear that crying" just when I say that sherry says she was on meant to pick up the child but the guard harassed her and she forgot I tell sherry "tell me where the bay is" she shakes her head and I can't tell you but I can show you I look at her for a moment and then say "lauren and bruna keep us covered l, Chris if anyone comes running at you ask them what they want if they keep on running kill them if they stop and answer and say they want out of this place let them join the group ok he nods.
As me and sherry are being covered by Lauren and bruna on our way to get the baby sherry says "my dad is not going to be happy" I look at her and say "if we have to kill we have to kill him ok" sherry nods her head at me as we get to the house where the bay is we hear what sounds like a struggle as we open the door I see to my surprise one of my old friends talleila and she has got the weapons like her favourite marvel character black widow and at that point she is winning because she is trying to.save the baby as she sees me she is shocked but she is not shocked for long as the person she is fighting has gotten up again and talleila has got to either kill him or knock him out and she knocks him out by shocking him with her electrical bracelets and as she has finished fighting she says "hi Michael where have you been" I look at her shocked but before I can answer we hear Wesker in the big screen.
Wesker has just said "you are not leaving at all" at that I get ready to say "yes we are" but just I say "yes" I hear a person whistling and it give me a very cold Jill but as I look on the big screen weaker and William berkin are even more scared.
Stranger's pov
As the stranger is walking getting ready to fight weaker and William berkin for trying to kill him he has a little think "how much am I going to enjoy killing these to pricks" (the stranger is by no means in my fanfiction a bad guy he might be in others but not mine) he is having some practice swings at some zombies to make sure he is warmed up and as he get to the open gate he says "Wesker and William pissing your pants yet" and laughs because of the face they pulled I t is one of shocked and weaker says "what are you doing here I thought we killed you" he had told William to go and sneak attack the stranger but the stranger heard a twig lightly snap behind him but made no movement to move until William tried to attack and the stranger threw William on the floor and smashed his head in with his weapon.
As Wesker watched what happened to William he smirkes and says to the stranger "I am a hologram and I am not even at the base I am somewhere else goodbye" after he said that he ends transmission and the fighting has finished.
As the stranger sees the screen go black he see our group and walks over and introduce himself "my name is Jeffery dean Morgan but everyone since the start of the apocalypse has called me my walking dead name call me negan and my bat is called Lucille".
