A/N: this chapter is a two chapter special it is a mix between chapter 6 and some stuff in should have put in chapter 2 sorry but with that being said thanks to those that are reading this I have nearly given up on writing but seeing how many people read this book it makes me smile. Just a reminder that I will take writtng tips where ever I can get them and if you want to be added just let me know. Now without further ado on with the two chapter special

As we all calm down from what Joel has just told us my first question to Joel is "why did they kidnap Ellie" I ask as calm as possible I look at Bruna and she nods to me when we heard Joel mumble something I ask him "say that again louder please" Joel looks at me and says "Ellie is bitten and is immune to the bite" as I smile at Bruna Joel looks at use with suprise at why we are not angry at him I said to Joel "me and Bruna had a slight guess that Ellie or you were immune" Joel looked at us shocked and said "how" I just told him it was the way he was being so protective of her and when we asked a question you looked so secretive.

As I tell Joel we will have a meeting tomorrow on how to attack that new group I send someone out to do a scout mission and to scout the new camp when he goes I tell Joel we will go to sleep and see what happens next when the scouts comes back Joel's sighs bit nods at me with that he finds somewhere to sleep as me and Bruna go to our beds where are parents are and they live together getting on fine.

As me and Bruna are getting ready to go to bed Bruna askes me do I remember the first day of the apocalypse I nodded shocked and she ask me "can you tell me what happened" I said "sure but you have to tell me what happened after I blacked out" she nods and o start my tale

(Chapter 2 bonus should have not been lazzy and properly added to chapter 2 but this is a good place)

1st person pov

As I get back home from college and the most scariest experience I have ever had to deal with I see mum moving around very fast and at least 10 bags packed and with our names on them I have 3 bags so far I get upstairs and start packing a fourth bag when all of a sudden mum runs up to me and gives me a big hug happy that I got home alright she asks me where are we going I tell her that college is the settlement that we need and they told us to get our family and bring them back as I finish I look out of my widow and see dad with a bus and little did I know he was drunk I did not know.

As I finish packing the bags and loading them up I see dad trying to start the bus but with no luck at this point I am like, my dad is drunk I go to the back of the bus a find the battery not attached properly to the engine and with that connected the engine starts and we are on our way.

Three minutes in to the journey and I realise it has been 45 minutes since I left college and i have fifteen minutes left until bruna gets worried when all of a sudden by phones buzzes ans I realised it is bruna I answer it and can hear the commotion at college until bruna finds a quiet spot and tells me "mine, Mollie's, Sarah's and Lauren brown's family are all hear well all the ones they wanted she says" I reply quickly saying "we will be at college in five minutes and I love you" with that being said I hang up little did I know that would be the last time I speak to bruna today while being fully conscious.

To my surprise two minutes letter my dad was smoking when he dropped it and he took his eyes of the road and we crashed right into a tree and I hit my head of the seat that is in front of me making me loose consciousness for about a minute the first thing I realise is I am alright the next thing see I see is up front my dad dead and his brains all over the steering wheel it makes me throw up at the sight. All of a sudden I hear movement and moans behind me and see that my mum and brother are all right and I run up to them I give them the biggest hug they have ever had suddenly I hear my mum scream and I know she has seen what has happened to dad she crys but I tell them that "we need to get moving" and to my surprise all of our bags have survived and we make it to college where I tell bruna what happened and pass out.

Bruna looks a me with a face full of sadness and unused tears I tell her that I am fine and then ask her after I give her a hug to let her know I am fine "what happened after I passed out" bruna realised a shaky breath and told me

Bruna and 3rd person pov

Bruna screams as she and Sarah both catch me as I fall limp to the floor bruna say's "what is wrong with him" she feels around the back of my head and see that it is bleeding but before anyone can say anything Sarah nan said "we need a hospital bed" but no sooner had that been said was Lauren brown behind her with a hospital bed and I was wheeled in to the LRC where I was unconscious for three day.

Three day later I start to wake up and in two seconds flat I am in two hugs one from bruna and another from Sarah and all of a sudden my mum rushes forward and brings me into a bone crushing hug but I also get punched in the arm for scaring everyone I say "I am sorry" and that the end of bruna's take of what happened after I passed out I was shocked that is what happened
