Eddie and I waited for everyone from the class of 86 to get their diploma's and give their speeches, til they all headed outside and we all threw our caps up in the air. Everyone went home and to celebrate Eddie decided it was time for us to go out on a date so when we got home I went inside set my cap and gown down in a 'safe place' and did my makeup since I had on a shiny emerald dress underneath my gown. I brushed my curls out a bit and slipped on one of Eddie's jackets. I swatched some red lipstick on my lips over top some lip balm. I did my eyeliner, and sprayed some more perfume and slid on some cute black heels.
"Ready to go?"
"Sure am." I smirked.
Eddie already had his suit on underneath his gown aswell, he didn't even notice the dress I had on until I walked out of our bedroom.
Eddie opened the door to the passenger door and helped me in then closed the door. He got in the van and pulled out of the driveway.
"How about Enzo's?" Eddie suggested.
"Eddie that place is expensive as hell!"
"It doesn't matter princess, It's your special day so you deserve whatever you want."
"I'll be paying." He added.
"Are you sure.?" I questioned.
"Positive."
He put his hand on my thigh and I placed my hand over top of his.
We pulled into the parking lot and of course he had to rush over to open the door for me and help me out.
"How many?"
"Two please."
"Right this way!"
The seater sat us outside where there was just one table. There were rose petals on the ground in the shape of a heart.
"This is beautiful-!"
"It's all for you my love." Eddie replied.
"You didn't!"
"Of course I did."
We sat down and I immediately knew what I wanted. My parents had brought me and Jason to the italian restaurant all the time when we were little and we loved it we still do to this day.
"Eddie why did you do all of this for me?" I asked.
"Because you're incredibly special to me and I wanted to do something special for you."
"You know you don't have to take me to expensive places like this baby."
"Oh yea I know, I just like doing this stuff."
"It doesn't just end with dinner my love."
The waitress came and took our order and we finished our dinner, paid and left.
"So where are we going next?" I asked.
"You'll see. You might wanna slip those heels off though."
It took us what felt like a good two hours to get to this place which was actually only about thirty-ish
minutes away. Eddie pulled off to the side of the road to this clear scenery of just a field of grass.
We got out and I slipped the heels off then we started walking through the grass with our hands interlocking each others.
"Here."
Eddie jumped down on the ground and laid down. I sat down and laid beside him.
"Awe Eds.."
"I know how much you enjoy the sky so here you go."
I laid across Eddie's lap horizontally as we both stared up at the beautiful stars.
"Eddie this is amazing, thank you for bringing me here."
"You're welcome y/n."
We watched the stars for hours and eventually decided to head home.
I got in the van and fell asleep. I felt Eddie's hand reach over on my hand and held it.
As soon as Eddie pulled into the driveway he got out and carried y/n inside and took her to his bedroom.
"Goodnight baby. It was finally our year. 86 sweetheart." He whispered under his breath as he covered y/n up with his bedsheets.
