Juniper stared at her computer. The blank screen made her even more frustrated. She couldn't figure out what to write for her English essay.

Manly because of what happened at the event a couple days and, because of the stupid topic her professor is making her write about.

She groaned and ran her hand across her face with a sigh, closing her computer. She got up and left her room. She ended up in her living room and looked around, seeing if anything she had lying around would be a good distraction.

After looking around and seeing that nothing suited her interest, she decided to go to work. She needed to work on a couple of things anyways. So she grabbed her keys and left her apartment.

Juniper was currently hunched over her desk trying to figure out some math equations for her new project she was working on. Her music was as loud as possible trying to drown out any distractions like Margo.

But that was long lived. Her music cut off so she whipped her head to find who the culprit was.

"You know I like to listen to music while I work Mar." Juniper turned back around to continue her math problem

"Someone is here to see you" Margo came closer to see what she was working on and sat down on the stool next to her.

"I don't have any meetings today though." Juniper looked at the redhead with a smile since she finally figured out her problem. "Tell them I'm busy."

"They're insisting, that's the problem." Juniper stood up and went to her work bench pulling out some tools, and shrugged at her words.

"Whatever they need can't be that important. They can wait until I have a meeting scheduled with them." Margo sighed and fixed her glasses and nodded.

"I'll let them know." Margo got up and Juniper shouted a quick thank you once her music was back on.

Juniper smiled in content since she now knew she had her project mostly figured out. She picked up her phillip screwdriver and continued to work on her motherboard for her project.

After a couple minutes of pure bliss, Juniper's music was turned off once again. She hung her head in defeat.

"Mar, are they really insisting?" Juniper spun around in her stool expecting to look at her assistant, but instead she was met with the complete opposite.

"What are you doing here?" Juniper put down her tools and stood up from her stool, fixing her clothes, and wiping her hands on a nearby rag.

"Wanted to see what you were working on. Since, it clearly impressed my dad. So I had to see it for myself." Tony wandered to her desk picking up some notes, briefly scanning them.

"Too bad I'm too busy to show you anything." Juniper took a hold of the paper he was holding, and gathered all the other notes scattered on the desk.

She walked over to the other side of the desk and placed the papers in a locked drawer and gave Tony a smile.

"So you won't tell me anything." Juniper gave him another smile, "Yep, just to make sure you won't steal my idea." Tony scoffed and wrapped his arms across his chest.

"What makes you think I'll steal from you?" Juniper was now walking to her fridge and grabbed a water bottle.

"Because it's you. Already a valid reason." She cracked open her bottle and took a sip.

Tony looked at her and bit the inside of his cheek. "Alright, fair enough. Thats a valid reason, I'll give you that."

Juniper gave him a look. "I was sort of surprised how your dad found out about my work. Wasn't expecting it at all, it just sort of happened."

"You didn't send in any of your work for him to see, he found it himself?" Tony leaned back on her desk and Juniper shrugged, taking another sip of water.

"I didn't at least. Though my father could have easily shown him my work." Tony hummed in response as she migrated back to her work bench picking up her motherboard.

Tony followed in suit and looked at the motherboard. "I know I don't know what this is going to be used for, but I would love to give some input."

Juniper looked up at him and sighed. "Alright then. You can take a look at it Mr. Stark." She held out the motherboard waiting for him to take it.

Tony looked at her, giving her a smirk, "Mr. Stark? Not trying to be weird or anything, But I loved how you said my name." He reached out his hand to grab the board, but Juniper quickly retracted it.

"You've now lost all motherboard privileges. You made it weird." Taking some tools with her Juniper turned her back to go to the other table.

"Wait no. It was a joke. You gotta work with me. I can't have just a little bit of fun." Her back was still turned, not looking back she shook her head.

For a few minutes it was quiet. Juniper didn't trust how quiet it was. So she turned around to see Tony reading through her notes. Her eyes widened and she quickly raced over to grab the papers from him.

"What the hell do you think you're doing?" Juniper hurried to try and fix the papers

Tony raised his hands. "In my defense. It wasn't locked."

"Are you fucking kidding me. It wasn't locked? Don't you think that if I took the papers away from you the first time, you shouldn't try looking at them a second time?" Juniper again, placed the papers in the same drawer. This time making sure it was locked.

I wanted to see your notes. Plus you made an error in your problem. It's supposed to be 7. Not, 2." He placed his hands in his pockets and looked at the Juniper with a shrug.

Juniper clenched her jaw while looking at the boy. She was seething with anger. She didn't like anyone touching her things, she also hated people correcting her work when she knew she was right.

"I think you've overstayed your welcome." Tony sucked in a breath and slowly released it, nodding. He turned his heels and left the same way he came in.

Juniper closed her eyes and took a deep breath. Once she opened her eyes she walked over to her stereo and turned back on her music. She walked back over to her desk and unlocked her drawer that held her notes.

She looked over her math problem again. She knew she was right; she just had to make sure. No harm in doing so.

After looking over the problem. Juniper placed her head in her hands, rubbing her temples and let out a sigh. He was right, she was wrong and she hated it. She now felt like a huge prick.

"Fuck."
