Chapter 8 Niall

I woke up today sad because Lindsay had left to go back home for a week because a family member died. She will be back but the longest we have been apart was three days because I was sick.

Ashlyn was on vacation in Ireland. Great a week with my dad alone.

I pulled out my phone to see to text absolutely no one till I landed on 'Niall Horan (:' I grinned and pressed his name and sent him a text.

K: Heyy Niall it's Kelsey remember me lol

Almost instantly I got a reply.

N: I never thought you would text me! Anyway wanna hang out?

I smiled I had nothing to do today.

K: Sure I will be over about 11:00?

N: ok :p

I smiled and put my phone away. I took I shower and put on my superman tee shirt, blue jean shorts, and my blue Vans.

I walked down stairs and grabbed a banana and just as I was walking out the door dad stopped me.

"What?" I said giving him attitude. "Where are you going?" Dad asked. "To Nialls dad don't worry he is just a friend he is not a player don't freak out." I said. I know he is just worried about me but still I'm not a dumbass 15 year old. I'm 18 I'm an adult. Ugh I hate that word!

"Oh ok if anything happens remember I have a gun ready anytime." He said with a serious look. I walked outside. It was so warm and sunny. I love days like this I did a cartwheel and laid down on the ground and watched the clouds.

I completely forgot about Niall until I saw I boy walking towards me. "Oh I thought you go lost!" He said. "Hey Niall look over there I swear I saw an eagle!" I don't even think there is eagles here but hell I don't know. He turned around and I ran and jumped on his back. We tumbled to the ground and laughed.

"Haha I hate you!" He said playfully. I stuck my tongue at him. Just out of no where the clouds turned grey. It started to drizzle so went onside.

Luckily my dad was asleep on the couch so he didn't see Niall. We ran upstairs quickly. I grabbed my guitar and started strumming a few chords.

"You play?" He asked me. "Yeah I love music I also play piano and trumpet." I said. He grabbed my guitar and started playing some chords. "That's beautiful Niall!" I exclaimed.

"You like it? It reminds me if you in a way." He said. I never been compared to music without lyrics. I didn't know if I should be offended or not so I just smiled.

"Hey Niall wanna go camping on my porch? Like a sleepover?" I laughed. "That would actually be kinda fun!" He said. It would but my dad wouldn't allow it. He was practically out for the day so maybe if Niall got up really early maybe dad wouldn't see him. We agreed on this plan.

I went into the kitchen and grabbed a bunch of food. We grabbed blankets and went outside and stared at the stars. It was pretty moment. "This is beautiful!" Niall said. I shook my head. "But being with you makes it more beautiful." He said. I felt my face turn blood red.

I looked in his eyes he gently moved in closer to me. The porch swing was sitting still. I closed my eyes and pushed in. His lips pressed gently against mine. I never really felt "fireworks" go off in a kiss but I was pretty sure this kiss had them.

The kiss was a simple kiss. We didn't make out or anything just a little peck. I pushed back and looked into his eyes. "Kelsey will you go on a date with me?" He asked me. "Yes Niall!" I said grinning. I leaned my head on his shoulder. I closed my eyes still feeling that most amazing kiss and fell asleep.
