Chapter 7

*4 weeks later!*

I woke up to the sound of my dad opening the door. "Hey Kelsey you got a letter!" Dad screamed up the stairs. I ran down stairs knowing its from Lane.

I grabbed the letter and tore it open. It said this

Dear Kelsey,

I hope your having more fun than me. It's crazy out her one attack after another. Oh so this is rock star boy eh? Don't fall into love to fast babe. I really miss you mum and dad. I love you guys so much! Sorry but with all the attacks out here we can't send letters but I can webcam! I'm excited they got it fixed! Only for 20 minutes though but who cares anything to see your face. Love you darling webcam me on the 27 at um 6?

I smiled and put the letters in the box I keep them in. Wait! Today was the 27! I ran downstairs all happy and smiling. Lindsay was up before me surprisingly.

"Hey Lindsayloohoo guess who I'm webcaming tonight?" I said grinning.

She rolled her eyes and said "Lane! I wanna see him he is kinda cute ya know!" I slapped her arm playfully.

"Yay! I can webcam Lane now!" I exclaimed. I had to use Lindsay's computer since mine is smashed.

When he answered it my heart stopped. There he was Lane my older brother. He was a lot skinnier but stronger built.

"Hey princess!" He said into the camera. I smiled and said "Hey prince I miss you!" I said. We talked for awhile about how he was doing and stuff. "Well are we gonna be able to do this again sometime?" I asked. "No I'm afraid not." He said.

I pulled out a little mini cake that I had made that said 'Happy Birthday Lane!' It wasn't his birthday but I wouldn't be able to sing to him so decided to know.

"Then I'm gonna have to sing!" I said. Lighting the candles singing happy birthday. He blow the camera and I blow out the candles.

"Your a great singer princess! Thanks for the cake!" He said laughing. "I'm sorry princess but I have to go now I love you so much!" He said. I held back the tears because he didn't like it when I cried. "I love you too Lane be careful!" I said. "Bye!" He said grinning turning off the camera.

It was nice talking to him. I missed him so much. I fell asleep thinking about him on the couch.
