CHAPTER 1

Bright and early started her morning. A long nights sleep is just what she needed and got. While (Y/N) started building a sleep schedule, something came in the mail, and she had found out that the job she had applied to had finally accepted the application! A job at Mann.Co. (Y/N) was excited to go in and join, she had always wanted a job with a family she could build, especially catching up with her uncle, Dell Conagher. An engineer, as was (Y/N). While Dell specialized in technical problems, solving with guns and what not, (Y/N) specialized in computers, and any sort of program code. In which, she may have gone through Mann.Co's systems to give herself a higher priority in the system, hoping to get the job more efficiently, and in her favor, it worked.

She was set to move to TeuFort in the coming days, so she had to pack fast, but it was easy with the little amount of belongings she did have. Managing to get them into a few bags, she was ready. Mann.Co just had to send people to pick her up, hoping Dell was there to get her. She managed to run out to her current job, letting them know she quit. Working in an antique shop was nice, but not her thing, and next was dropping off her apartment keys, which went by smoothly. She was ready. Everything was done.

By the end of the day, A 'Red Bread' truck had made a loud stop outside of the apartment lobby, alerting (Y/N) as she put down her writing, in through the doors came 3 men. The first she noticed was Dell! She rushed over and hugged him, allowing the other two men to step aside towards her baggage. She gave him a quick peck on the cheek as a thank you, and moved to the other men. One was huge, pretty burly, and quite intimidating. While the other looked like a doctor, or scientist. She walked over, pulled them down by their collars and gave them both a peck on the cheek.

"Thanks darlin's." (Y/N) said, as she picked up her last bag. The loaded her items and set out in the road. "So, who are you two? I'm guessing Uncle Dell here already ranted about me?" Dell chuckled and let out a small 'yup' in the seat next to her.

"Mikhail. Or heavy." The big guy said. "I am from Siberia, and as you can guess, I use large gun." He said, his voice basically rumbling the truck. Next to him, the other man spoke up.

"Thank you Herr Misha. I am Doctor Ludwig." Ah, as you suspected. "From Germany, and I am our teams medic." 'Alrighty then.' She thought. 'Basic introductions.' "So, Why did you want to join us? What are your skills?" The medic asked.

"No other job suits me here. And plus, I wanna be with old Dell here more." She said. "I work with computers and engineering. Runs in the family. Although I focus more on tracking devices than I do large sentries. Although I do have a similar design with the teleporter and dispenser."

"But ya cant beat my classic sentry. Nothing has ever beat that. Unless ya got another upgrade." Dell chuckled out next to (Y/N).

The rest of the ride was filled with recounted with happy memories and stories from the red base war. When the ride was finished, they parked in a large garage and hopped out of the van. (Y/N) grabbed a bag of hers as Medic and Heavy grabbed the other two bags. The halls were long, with many labeled doors, such as 'commons', 'alerts', 'plans', and 'respawn' to name a few. Dell led her to a long hallway past the commons room, Along the walls were 12 rooms, all with small papers blocking the windows on the doors, each labeled with class names.

"So here's your room darlin, right next to mine and Medics." Dell said, taking her things from the other two men and excusing them. "I'll introduce you to the rest of the crew after i tour you around completely." They unpacked her things into the dull grey room, the blankets were soft though, which (Y/N) loved. A good bed meant good ideas in the wake of the hour. When they were finished, there were small pictures on the walls and dresser, there were blueprints on the desk and a nice small plush bunny (Y/N) was gifted by Dell when she was just a small child. "Aww, honeybee, you still have this ol thing?" He asked.

"That I do. Heh, don't think I've slept a day without it! But now it think we're done!" She said, putting her hands on her hips and looking around. Dell let out a little chuckle, holding onto his utility belt as he walked to the door and asked,

"Well now that that's done, wanna have that tour?"
