Weeks passed a (Y/N) settled in. Today was when another mission was ordered. Badwater was where they were set too, a place that she became accustomed to quickly as it reminded her of home. And as it turned out, Both (Y/N) and Sniper worked perfectly together. With movements and combos there.

At the beginning of the mission, the woman set up her portable dispenser and launcher near their spawn for easier travel and extra resources for where Dell was set up. She found the Sniper already rushing the high ground towards enemy spawn.

"Hey! Snipes! Wait up!" She called, he turned and smiled before climbing his way up the orange dusty rocks. The sun was beating down on them, as a woman's voice rang out the grounds.

"Mission begins in 30 seconds!"  The old voice spoke. (Y/N) pulled out her construction PDA and placed her sentry. On the opposite side of where her and the sniper were, was Dell, his dispenser and teleporter were set up, and he began to construct his sentry. (Y/N)'s sentry was akin to the engines level 2 sentry, same make and model, just slight differences with the barrels, holding room for short tracking devices.

The mission began, and BLU rushed out fast. The cart began pushing and people became airborne. Wether from sticky bombs, air blasts, or the soldiers in the air, didn't matter. Already, her sentry marked a spy as he de-cloaked and tried as fast as he could to disguise as pyro, but to no avail as he was turned to Swiss cheese in seconds. The tracker blinked on his corpse for a moment before dying out.

There were corpses everywhere, but one she thought was a corpse, wasn't. (Y/N) was staring right back at herself from across the dust. Her Blu counterpart had already built everything up to the fullest, but the only thing was, she snagged a wrangler into her load out. And just in (Y/N)'s luck, it was pointed right at her and the sniper next to her. Before she could shout to him to get down, the bullets flew. Piercing in fatal spots for the both of them.  As blood filled her lungs, and the man next to her let out a death rattle, they fell.

Longer than you think. Longer than you think. It's all you can think as you watch your body deconstruct and reconstruct, removing all imperfection. Longer than you think.

It was an eternity. She could see faces she knew. Her father- he was there. around them were faceless people. Her father smiled, opening his arms.

As a red light shrouded her body, the respawn machine sent (Y/N) into the chamber she started in. The sniper dropped in right next to her a moment later, shaken up.

"It's eternity in there... But you'll get used to it eventually. Let's take engie's tele' and get back out there, aye?" (Y/N) nodded, shaken up as well by the things she just witnessed.

As (Y/N) stepped on the teleporter, a similar red light consumed her. Expecting to have the sun beating down on her once more through her clothes, she was mistaken. Little did she know, the sniper hopped on the teleporter right after her, but the enemy spy sapped the exit.

They were stuck. The red eating them alive. (Y/N) was freaking out as she was existing while not existing at all. Her lungs burned from the lack of air, the red light was hurting her retinas. Suddenly, it all stopped. She was spat out by an exit teleporter, but- they weren't in the heat and orange rocky area anymore. It was cold. Really cold. She recognized the place she was in, barely though. Cold front.  The cold wracked her air deprived lungs as she sat on the floor. Snipes was right next to her, staring at the inactive teleporter dumbfounded. The base there wasn't supposed to be in use. At all. It was ruled out for missions because of extreme weather presenting itself, causing issues.

"Erm... Snipes? What the hell is going on?" (Y/N) turned to face the man, who was just as confused as her.

"I really don't know, Sheila..." He said back, shocked. "Can you possibly get the teleporter to work?" The woman began to twist and turn the edges, looking down the center and all.
