Chapter 5: Halloween 2022 Special! 👻

Happy Halloween! (It's very late 😅)
I've been very sick lately but I'm all better so I'm going to post the Halloween special I was meant to post on the 31st...

Keith's POV:

I woke up ok my sofa. I looked up and saw Pico, his arms wrapped around me. 'I need to get up I'm starving, but I don't want to wake Pico.' I thought. I wriggled for a bit and finally broke free from his grip. "Finally...I can get some food" I whispered to myself. I walked over to the fridge

I slid the door open and got blinded by the light. "Agh!" I yelled. Obviously I was too loud as I saw Pico shoot up from the sofa with a panicked expression. "Wha! What's wrong Keith are you okay?!" He shouted. "I'm fine Pico! Anyway, want some breakfast?" He nodded so I got to work.

I grabbed milk from the fridge and then grabbed some bread. I put it in the toaster and cracked some eggs at the stove. After about 15-20 minutes it was ready so I called Pico to the table. He slouched over and sat at the table. "Mmm...what smells good in here?" He said with a droopy voice. "Fried eggs on toast with milk!" I shouted, I don't eat with other people often but I really like this.

Time Skip

Pico's POV:

After Keith washed the dishes and went to his room I remembered that I was taking him out somewhere! I rushed to put my jumper on to at least look good. "Keith! Are you nearly done?" I shouted from the door. "Nearly! But it's freezing outside and I left all my jumpers and hoodies at my parents home!" He shouted. After a few minutes I heard a door creak and knew he had finished.

I took my jumper off and threw it at him. "Here short stuff, wear that." I said. "W-wha? Pico I c-can't just take it." He stuttered. I glared at him till he sighed and put it on. It was very oversized but looked adorable on him. "Alright let's go!" I shouted enthusiastically as I rushed to open the front door. Keith was fixing the jumper on him so I grabbed his hand and pulled him outside.

Time Skip!

Third Person POV:

After they walked for a bit they eventually came across the café. "Here it is!" Pico said happily. "Woah i-it's huge!" Keith said in awe as Pico dragged him inside. Eyes glared at them both. Pico was famous so it was obvious they would be like this. The café was a beautiful dark wood with fireplaces everywhere. It was nicely heated and was quite busy. "What ya want?" Pico said while looking at the board for the menu. "I-I um... I don't normally go out so I don't know..." Keith said a bit overwhelmed. "Hey cool it! I'll get us a table and you can take all the time you like!".

The waiter led them both to a beautiful spot. It was in the corner with a fireplace burning.
"P-Pico look! This place is amazing!" Keith said in shock. "I know now sit down it's nice and warm." Pico said as he sat Keith down. "Now what do you want to order?" He said. "O-oh yes! I'll look now...Pico! There's a pumpkin flavoured milkshake! Can I get it?" Keith said jumping on his seat. "You sure? It's freezing outside?" Pico said. Keith nodded and Pico went up to order.

Keith got comfortable on the single-person sofa and waited Pico's arrival. He was still thinking this was a dream, and that Pico isn't really here in front of him. After 5 minutes Pico came back and set the drinks down on the table. "Okay, here's your milkshake!" He said happily. "Thanks! What are you drinking?" He said. "Pumpkin spice latte, it comes once a year so might as-well make some use of it!" He said cheerfully.

They chatted and drank their drinks. But then the waiter came up . "Are you ready for your meals now?" He said. Pico nodded but Keith was confused. 'Food? What food I didn't order any!?' Keith thought as the waiter disappeared into what looked like the kitchen. "Pico! Are we getting food? I didn't order!" Keith said a big overwhelmed. "Calm down Keith! You'll like it! I promise!" He said. Keith nervously nodded and await their food.

Time skip

Keith's POV;

After we got the amazing food from the waiter, Pico and I walked out off the restaurant but he said there was somewhere else he's taking me. We walked for a bit longer and came across a...corn field? "Here we are!" He said as we walked inside. "This is a bit creepy lookin" I mumbled. As we walked into the corn field a man dressed up as a scarecrow popped out of the corn! "Hello folks!" The scarecrow shouted
Pico then whispered in his ear and handed him some money. "Alrighty guys! You can come on in!" He shouted again and jumped back into the corn. Disappearing

Pico's POV:

As we walked on I felt Keith grip on to my arms for comfort. He looks so adorable. "What's wrong? You scared?" I laughed but my laugh died quickly as he responded. "Y-yes" I noticed he started getting red, I didn't know if it was the cold or he was blushing. "My jumper looks good on you" I smirked. "Are you cold?". He nodded and I turned to him and hugged him tightly, then I lifted him and carried him further into the path, still having him in my grasp.

"I'm very warm n-now" I heard him murmured. He is so light and his blue hair looks so soft and "Pico! Hello?" Keith shouted as I snapped back into reality. "W-wha? Oh yea what's up?" I said casually as he gave me a look . "Where are we even going? He said impatiently. "Just a few more minutes!" I said as I started to run. I felt Keith grab onto me as we sped through the corn. Then we came out at a beautiful looking town. "What is this place?" I heard a muffled Keith.

"This is the place! Let's have a look at the shops!" I said as I let Keith down, we walked around the many shops for ages. I got a new green hoodie and Keith got a blue hoodie with a profanity symbol in the middle. "This was amazing Pico! Look at those new jumper!" He said as he showed me the jumper. "Hm... I think you need a bigger size... you suit oversized hoodies and jumpers. You look cute in them" I said. He smiled and I picked out a bigger size. "Here take your jumper back I got a new hoodie!" Keith said as he handed me my jumper. "No you keep it" I smiled "Are you sure?". I grabbed the jumper and put it back on him. "You look cute in it!" I said while laughing

We walked out and the sun was setting. I grabbed Keith's hand. I prepared myself for this for an hour. Now it's the time. "Hey Keith?" I said nervously. "Yes? Is everything alright?" He said worriedly " W-would y-you like to go out with m-me?" I stuttered. There is as a pause that felt like hours had passed. "Yes yes!" Keith shouted as he jumped on me. I held him tight as we walked home.

We stopped by the bakery and I bought some lovely pumpkin pie!
