"Kappa. I want you to be my husband." Siren said quietly. Kappa looked up at him, a shocked expression covering his face. Out of all the things he was expecting Siren to say, that wasn't something he thought of. "Husband?.. What do you mean?" he asked. "I've never felt anything like what I feel for you. I think.. This is what love feels like." Kappa stayed silent. Although, he did have feelings for Siren, he thought the situation was.. Too good. Why has nothing bad happened? He sighed. Well, I guess his life is finally getting better after surviving torture. "I.. I love you Siren." Kappa said quietly. Then he.. Felt something, he hadn't felt for a long time. He felt loved, genuinely loved. He felt happy. He felt tears forming in his eyes, but he wasn't sad. He looked up at Siren, a big smile on his face. "I really love you Siren." Kappa crawled over to him and wrapped his arms tightly around his body. "So.. are you my husband now?" Siren asked. "Woah there, let's go slowly. How about.. your my boyfriend." Kappa laughed. He loosened his grip onto Siren and rested there for awhile. "Your comfortable.." He mumbled. "So I've heard." Siren chuckled. "Oh yeah...Sorry if Im being weird.. I act weird when I'm tired." Siren smiled at him. "Uh, okay? What do you mean by 'weird'?" He asked. "I dunno, I'm probably gonna say some stuff I'll regret saying in the morning when I'm more awake I guess." Siren nodded. "Uh huh.. well okay then. I'm not letting letting you walk home." He laughed. "Good! I didn't want to go home anyways!" He picked up Kappa and walked over to a soft moss patch, while Kappa was fighting with what little strength he had. "Nooooooo I don't wanna go to sleeeeep yettttt." He mumbled. "Mhm. Well too bad." Siren held Kappa in his arms and curled up comfortably, his wings wrapping around him. "Hehe. I like the dark." Kappa giggled. "You do huh?" Siren smiled. "Cmere lemme give you a kisssss." Kappa reached up and Siren pulled him closer. He held his arms around Sirens neck and pulled Him into a soft kiss. "Hehe. Comfy." Siren managed to get Kappa to ease down, and finally go to sleep.
Kappa woke up quite peacefully, he felt rather comfortable with where he was. He looked up at Sirens resting face and smiled. "Oh my sharky.." he whispered. He reached up and put his hand on Sirens cheek. "Am I.. okay?" He heard Siren ask quietly. "No hon, your perfect." Kappa pulled them closer together and they shared a soft kiss with one another. "You stayed." Siren said quietly. "Of course." Kappa whispered to him. Kappa felt safe. He didn't mind that he had slept in a cave for the night, while a forest full of creatures was just outside, he didn't mind it one bit. He felt safe with Sirens arms around him, he felt... happy. They both shared a long silence, it was peaceful. But it was soon broken by distant yelling. "What the hell?..." Kappa and Siren both listened to the shouting, both wondering what it was. But Kappa grew anxious. "Hey Siren uhh.. what if that's not safe?" He looked up at Siren nervously, to find him staring at something. Kappa sighed, "what is it?" He asked quietly. "It's that a.. person?" Siren mumbled. Before they could react, they heard a loud voice. "Let the boy go! He doesn't have to get hurt." Kappas eyes widened, realizing who they were. "Siren. You need to get out of here. RIGHT NOW." He said. "What? Why? Who are they?" Siren asked, panicking. "I don't know, but they're not the kind of dragon-obsessed I am. They're going to take you, and they're going to hurt you." Siren saw how terrified Kappa was, and he was getting worried. "Go! Just go! I'll be fine!"Siren but his lip. "But Kappa! What will they DO to you?" Kappa reached up and pulled Siren down to his level by his braid. "Siren. Go." He cried. Siren hesitantly made his way over to the entrance of his cave, and paused once more, looking back on Kappa. "Go now!" Kappa yelled. Siren barely made it out of his cave before he was attacked from above. Kappa watched in horror as he was attacked, more and more people coming every minute. His legs felt weak, he couldn't move. Kappa. Kappa! Move! Go right now! When he found the strength to move his legs, he ran. His eyes darted for anything he could use to help, when he saw someone pointing a gun at him. "STOP IT!" Kappa yelled, he leaped for the person. Both were knocked to the ground, and the person he knocked down quickly got up. "Kid! What are you doing?" They yelled. "Stop it! Don't hurt him!" Kappa yelled. They shoved him away and aimed their gun again. Without thinking, Kappa ran infront of it. "Do NOT SHOOT HIM." He growled. Siren was focused on the people tying ropes to him, and then he stopped to look for Kappa. He seemed to be.. Threatened by someone. Siren ran towards Kappa and pulled him away from them. He hissed defensively at them. "Kappa! You said that you wouldn't be hurt!" Siren growled. "Well, I- uh-" before he could finish his sentence, they heard a gunshot. Kappa's blood ran cold at Siren suddenly dropped onto the ground. His eyes hurt, his body hurt, everything hurt. Suddenly, he felt someone grab onto him and start pulling him away. "No.. no no no no no no no no NO!" Kappa yelled as he was dragged away. "SIREN!!"
He felt a hard, painful thing on his head, and blacked out.
