Bellarke -Another Day in Phoenix!

Chapter 1. Walden To Phoenix.

Wow... My bedroom was so empty. As I looked around my childhood home I wandered to myself, Why do I have to pay for my fathers mistakes?

My bedroom had nothing in it except 1 frame on the floor that had fallen out of my mothers box. I knelt down and felt my knee click, suddenly it just went! I fell the floor and although it didn't hurt I felt like I was meant to fall, but i knew that what I felt most was the need to stay! I picked up the dusty frame and saw a picture inside of me and my best friend Sterling, we'd been inseparable since we moved here. I knew that after this I may never see him again and my eyes started to fill with tears.

I sat in silence until I heard my name being called,
"Clarke." Someone shouted. The voice was extremely familiar. I looked up and saw Sterling standing outside the door frame. He ran over to me and knelt down.
"Hey what's up? Did you fall?" He asked.
"Yes but it's fine." I told him. He helped me up and took me downstairs to my mother who was helping the workers load the moving van.
"You ready Clarke?" She asked me as she got into her car. 
I turned and looked at Sterling.
"So I guess this is the end of an era huh?" I asked Sterling glass eyed.
He pulled me close so my head was on his chest.
"Don't forget me Clarke!" He told me.
I wrapped my hand around his top and told him "Never!" He loosened his gold and I pulled back. I kissed him on the cheek and got in the car.

I tried to make it seem like I wanted to go but honestly I'd give anything but to stay home, with Sterling. At least at Phoenix no-one would want to kill me!

It was a 4 hour drive but we finally got to our brand new house. It was lovely. Big, and new! It had a huge swimming pool outside and I should've been happy, but I wasn't! My mother came over and put her hand on my shoulder.
"C'mon Clarke. This is our life now! It's perfect don't you think?" I looked and my mum and nodded. She grabbed my wrist as I walked away and said
"But...?"
"But I wish dad could be here with us..." I told her and again my eyes started filling with tears.
