Bellarke -Another Day in Phoenix!

Chapter 4. Trust.

I remember 7 months ago. Me and Sterling were obsessed with GTA 5, we couldn't take our eyes off the screen. My mum and dad were happily married and everything was normal. My life was mostly normal in Walden, until my fathers incident. It changed everything for all of us. I hadn't heard from Sterling in 4 weeks. I hope everything's okay. He's probably doing better than I am. In Phoenix its 1 thing after another! I don't know how much longer I can go on like this...

I was petrified, this tall man had me pushed up against a wall. I looked at Octavia on the ground and wanted to switch places with her. His hands were clutched tightly around my wrists, so tight it would definitely leave a mark.
The man put his face right up close to mine so our noses were touching.
"If you'd have just left it. You're too pretty to die." He told me and I looked him straight in the eye.
"Wait I know you... Griffin? Isn't it? Well, I was good friends with your father. You're just like him. A coward! A useless unwanted coward." He told me.
In anger I kicked him in the shin and kneed him in the stomach.
"Don't talk about my father!" I shouted and ran round the corner. Octavia wasn't who he wanted anymore, it was me. I knew she would be safe. I got my mirror out and looked in the reflection to see where he was going.

He was so close to me and I had no-where to go... Suddenly a silver car burst in, barely fitting in the alleyway. A boy jumped out of it and ran over to Octavia. He put a strand of hair behind her ear and lifted her into his arms. Octavia woke slightly and lifted her head. She rapped her hand around his head, slightly on his shoulder. She was was trying to hug him but didn't have enough strength, he knew what she was trying to do. Octavia then smiled knowing she was safe, (I just wished I could feel the same).
"Lincoln?" She said and laid her head on his shoulder.
Another male got out of the car.
"Get her in the back!" He told the man.

The man wearing black was so close to me now, he turned the corner and saw me, once again he grabbed my wrist.
The 2 other guys were getting back in the car to drive off with Octavia.

"Ahhhh!" I screamed and suddenly one of the boys turned around. He ran over round the corner and leaped on the man who had hold of me. The man who had grabbed be punched the boy in the nose kept doing so. The bad man was so much larger, uglier.
"Get out of here!" The boy said and I ran.

I saw the boy getting beat up and I could let it happen. I grabbed a brick and hit the man round the head with it.
The boy looked surprised, I helped him up and we both ran back to the car.

We drove off straight away. He didn't even ask who I was, I didn't even know who either of them was but I knew that Octavia knew them.
"Where are we going?" I asked with a worry in my voice.
"Home." The driver told me, he was the one I just saved the life of.
"We'll explain everything when we get there. You just gotta trust me okay?" He said.

I know it was strange but I had a feeling in my stomach that he was here to help. That he didn't want to hurt me. I had no-idea who he was but I did know I could trust him.

A/N~ This is the 1st time Clarke and Bellamy meet. First I was thinking that he could just save her but that happens in every story and it makes females look weak so I though maybe they could both save eachother!!!
