chapter 9- jelousy

"buenos días." rodri says, shaking sofia to wake her up.

"what." sofia mumbles, moodily.

"i need to go now." he replies.

"that's fine, bye." sofia says.

rodri hugs sofia before saying goodbye to her for the day.

sofia sleeps for longer, she is woken up to her phone ringing. joão cancelo.

"sofia! sorry i couldn't come last night, was rodri there?" joão asks.

"yes he was." sofia replies.

"he's being a massive dickhead right now. anyway, i'll come over tonight... if that's alright with you?" he says snottily, yet so cutely.

"yes it's alright." she says back.

"see you later." joão exclaims.

before she could even reply, he hung up. not even a second later, sofia reicives a text from rodri.

"joão has been pissing me off, avoid him if you can." the text reads.

"oh?" sofia replies back.

rodri leaves her on read.

"well that's lovely." sofia mumbles to coco.

she stays in bed, waiting for the clock to hit 4:30. walking around nervously, the door finally makes a noise.

"joão!" she whispers loudly.

as she's running downstairs, she thinks about what rodri has said to her. what's happened? what's he said?

as she opens the door, she can hear joão shouting on the phone.

"i'm at sofia's. leave us alone." he says before hanging up.

rodri.

"hey joão!" sofia says, trying to lighten up the situation.

"hi sofia. can i told to you? it's about rodri..." he replies.

sofia nods and they go to the couch.

"well, he's went around telling the squad i have a crush on you." he says.

"and? what did you say?" sofia asks.

"i called him a pussy... then we started arguing." joão replies.

"oh no." she replies back.

"and now we haven't been getting on." joão adds.

"i have a question though... do you have a crush on me?" sofia asks.

joão pauses for a minute.

"well... that's irrelevant now... anyway, lets' watch some netflix." joão replies.

"ok." sofia adds.
