I moved my body on the soft bed as my body was a bit relived, taking my hands to my head, the bandage was still there but, the pain was decreasing gradually.
I just don't want to think of any other thing than nothing, just wanted to be left alone to arrange my thoughts why aren't my brothers around?? The plan wasn't to abandon me
This was not what we planned
Xavier has really put me through hell
After that day that I saw those people at the dining, I haven't seen them again and I'm glad.
Thankfully the doctor told Xavier I needed to be in the hospital
But what baffled me was this......I haven't seen Rowland for the past 2 weeks after Xavier shattered the glass table on my head, it was really disturbing..or wait, has Xavier killed him ?
I was interrupted in my thoughts when. The door creaked open and that saying of ' speak of the devil and he appears' it was him Xavier he has a plastered smile on his ugly face .
I didn't know whether to run or Jump over the window
Tears flowed down my cheek as he sat on the edge of the bed and I moved away "darling.....I don't understand..I'm I evil??" My mind was saying the opposite of what my action was
He smiled knowing my answer as I shook my head in disapproval
He turned to face me fully and held my chin " Rowland is around he's coming to take you out of the hospital..today's news" and with that he got up and left
Totally forgetting what he said later I was so glad that Rowland was still alive and he'll be here to pick me
I continued to smile like a fool all through as I cleaned the tears that dripped down my face.
Xavier's POV
I was in the sitting room on the balcony watching the birds fly on different trees with the painting of a flower Veronica drew when she was with me
Once the guys sign the papers tommorow she'll leave and I'll get paid then, I can focus on other things before she's back.
I know she likes Rowland so, I'm going to use him to make her speak and then my plan would work and then more money for me
She's been in the hospital for two weeks now , and I haven't seen her face getting up the chair I left for Rowlands room hoping my plan would work like it always does
Not bothering to knock, I got into the room and found him on his phone
He looked at me angrily " what the hell...can't you knock!!" He yelled
I rolled my eyes and sat on the couch nearest to him
"Put your phone aside I'm here for business and I need you" he took time to try to read my mind but it wasn't working like normal so, he dropped his phone on the bed and turned to face me
"The guys who want her are coming to take her tommorow and like I said....it is a million dollars for a week and u have a share of 10% ..... which we both know it's much"
He had this sadness in his eye whenever it came to VERONICA I should be jealous but I'm not ......and u know why?.... cause I'm gonna use him to get her
He cleared his throat "and....what is that?" I smiled.
"Just go and bring her from the hospital" I said as he furrowed his brow. He picked his phone from the bed and left the room and headed to where I think he was going

Rowland got into the hospital and saw Veronica she had a large smile on her face as he got in and sat on the bed
She quickly moved to him abd hugged him from the back which made goosebumps rise on his skin
He remembered this was how Diane would hug him if she was happy
But, remembering she was leaving tommorow and he might not even see her again, he pulled her away and could see the hurt in her eyes but he had no choice
"Let's get you downstairs" he said but she continued to stare at him trying to figure out what the problem was ..but, it wasn't written on his face.
Rowland carried her away from the hospital and he got into the house were Xavier and like Veronica would say the 'G' familiar guy were seated
" Cute mute .....welcome" Xavier said with a fake smile on his face
The overwhelmed Rowland sat on the couch opposite Veronica " hey.....I'm Bryan and I'm here to replace Manny" a guy from behind spoke
Veronica turned backward and examined the red headed guy who just spoke
"Harry... pack up her load she's leaving tomorrow..... nothing should remain....do u understand?" And he bowed and left.
Veronica's POV
Rowland has been acting all weird and I wonder why
Hearing Xavier say that I'm leaving was something that ignited happiness in me but, the question was where exactly I'm I going to?
Harry left the sitting room and headed to my room when Rowland said "....when is her flight" I was caught unawares by the question...I thought he'll want me to stay
Why would I even think that...there's no way he could like me..I guess I was just so locked in my dream land again
Xavier replied hesitantly as he was on his phone same as the familiar 'G' guy.
"8am.....it's a 3 hour flight"
I was still lost in thoughts trying to arrange my head with the ache I was feeling
It was like the pain killer I used worked no longer. The headache was increasing drastically which made me feel like I was going to pass out anytime soon
I could just see thier mouth move but I was not hearing a single thing and with that I lost my balance.
