In His Eye

Lost it

The car pulled out of the parking lot and he began to move
There was a bit of silence in the car only the low music that was playing

I noticed he kept on looking at me unfortunately as he looked at me I also did and our eyes met

He had a grin on his face
Like of satisfaction
Instantly I rolled my eyes

He chuckled and I cocked my brow " what?" He didn't respond as he focused on the road
I really wanted to get home on time

Because I'm so uncomfortable right now
Luckily there was traffic (there was traffic)
Urghhh

He rested his back on the head rest while I rested my hand on the window
He turned to me and said " so.. Veronica what did you go to do at that restaurant?...cause I came in and I didn't see you "

I responded " to see someone" still not looking at him
He said " ohh.....so what Collect are you going to attend?"

But I didn't answer him
He kept on looking at me then he said again " Im attending Dreven College in new York"

I removed my seat belt and turned to him " I don't know the college am going .....and..please I don't like to talk"

I moved back to my seat and he nodded slightly
Hoping in my mind for the traffic to get moving but it didn't

I began to feel more uncomfortable..I guess he noticed  so he said " you can come down if you are uncomfortable....I'll go home alone..like Normal"

In his voice was tint of anger not concern
Maybe he now dislikes me
No one ever liked me tho

I nodded and removed my seat belt and said " thank you" and I came down from his car heading to the walkway

Maybe I'll find a bus or something
Standing there for sometime the traffic moved and he sped off

I guess why it didn't move me was because I was used to being hated anyway
As I dipped my hands into my pocket that was when I noticed my phone wasn't in my pocket

I began to panic
Thinking thoroughly I remembered when I adjusted my seat belt to talk to Leo I dropped it
Fuck!

How would I get a taxi home now?
Luckily a bus appeared and  I got in paying him some money I found in my pocket

On getting home time was 7:13pm and it was already halfway dark and I cannot possibly stay without my phone so, instead of walking to my home I walked 2 blocks away which he said he lived in

Getting to the brown down
I pressed the door bell twice before a very tall guy opened the door

He had a blonde curly hair, green eyes and a muscle built stature
He tilted his head " what do you want?" He didn't sound angry he just sounded tired

" Em....Leo..I think " I said
He cocked his brow " what's up with Leo?"  He said resting on the door with his hands folded across his chest

"Em....I forgot my phone in his car when he dropped me off" I said now looking down
He chuckled a bit then he said "Im Liam......Leo is my younger brother ...and you are?"

I continued to fiddle with my fingers " I'm..em...I am Veronica " I said.....this time around he laughed out more making me wonder what was funny

" Did you forget your name so suddenly after seeing a hot guy like me?" He said jokingly and I laughed a bit " finally you laughed....let me call him...you coming in?"

I shook my head in disapproval
He nodded and closed the door
I breathed a heavy sigh and raised my head to the sky that was getting darker

He really is a talker

After some time they both came out
Wow
They kind of look the same

He saw me and he said " did you come to apologize?" I was surprised " what?...no..my phone "
All he said " ohh..that's true you're very forgetful "

I rolled my eyes at him when Liam said " bruh...I never knew you have left Alena for this beautiful Veronica " he hit his bro

"She's not my girlfriend..she just lives 2 blocks forward " he said as he walked in to get my phone
As he came out
I waved  at his brother bye and I left to my home

I hugged my phone so tight making sure I never forget it
What if I hadn't known his house

On  getting home music was blasting out of the speakers what the hell
Opening the door I saw a lot of people
I became scared

Valentino was surely having a party there was smell of smoke and drinks all round

Alcohol gosh!

The stairs to my room looked so far
I'm guessing I'll run up the stairs
As I got into the house no one noticed me as I think until I got halfway to the sitting room and someone grabbed me

I was too shocked to notice the person
When I became conscious I noticed it was Victor

Veronica: Victor stop it!!
Victor: no!!

He held my waist and  smiled
pressing my body against his  " stop Victor....stop!!!" Valentino pushed him away from me and I ran up to my room crying

I cried so much
Why would he do that to me?
I'm his sister

My eyes were puffed up due to the too much cry
I just couldn't stop
He assaulted me
Infront of so many people

Tears could not stop flowing down on my cheeks
I try to calm myself saying he was drunk
But another part of me tells me that he has been looking for ways to do that

And he thought this was his chance
Out of the so many girls it was me he saw to touch wrongly

All this thoughts gave me more headache I just decided to take a bath and lie on my bed
I have work tomorrow from 3pm...I'm earning $50... But it won't be enough

I have to find a work that I'll do from 9am till 2pm
So I'll double my money daily

I guess I'll be able to cope
