Minecraft: Path to Knowledge

Chapter Three: Journey

I have been on my journey for three days and have just reached the jungle. I proceed to search for the temple and after a little bit, I could see it. After reaching the temple I start to look around being cautious about traps.
After looking around for a bit I made camp inside the temple. After securing the door I went to sleep.

Dream

"We should check it out," I said.
"I'm not sure it's safe to..." Alex said but was cut off by the dream changing.
"That thing will be coming for us," a familiar voice said.
"But notch..." I said.

Reality

I woke up at dawn, pack up my camp, and continued my journey to the stronghold.
I reached the stronghold a little after midday. I mined a hole into the wall and started to search for answers and anything useful.
After searching for a bit I came across a library filled with books from a long time ago. A couple of the books were on building techniques, Redstone uses, and monster encyclopedias. I grabbed a few of each type and continued my search.
I came across a room that had a portal frame.

Memory

"Quick, we need to get to safety!" Notch said.
"We don't know what is on the other side," I said.
A low growl was heard.

Reality

I grabbed my head in pain and looked at the portal. I didn't know how to activate it so I made a note about it and left back to the village to go over the information I found.
After a week I made it back to my house. I placed the books in my office and the items that were left behind in my storage.
I went back to my office and started reading the books. They gave me new knowledge of how to build and use Redstone. I was reading the monster encyclopedia and found monsters that I never knew existed. A crafting recipe book I found broadened my crafting knowledge and even had something called an Eye of Ender.
After a bit, I looked outside and saw it was night. I walked to my room and went to sleep.

Dream

I was in the stronghold as it was being built and overlooking the construction of a portal.
"When the End portal is finished we will be able to escape from..." Notch said but was cut off.

Reality

I woke up a went to the building crew office.
"Is Kyle in?" I asked.
"He is in his office," Harvey said.
"Thank you," I said.
I went to his office and told him what I found.
"That's amazing," He said.
"I brought two of the books I found with me to give to the building crew," I said handing him the books. "I'm sorry but I do need to keep going with my journey."
"I understand, just don't be a stranger ok," Kyle said with a smile. "You may not have been born in this village but you are one of us."
"Thank you, for everything," I said with a smile.
I left the office and went back to my house to figure out what to do now.
"The Eye of Ender requires one Ender pearl and one blaze powder," I said to myself pacing in my office. "I can get the blaze powder from breaking down blaze rods and I can get blaze rods from blazes in the Nether."
I look at the copy I made of the books I gave Kyle and found the Nether portal schematics.
"Looks like I need at least ten obsidian to make a portal," I said. "And I need a diamond pickaxe to get obsidian."
I look at my emeralds and find I have 100 emeralds.
I made my way to the blacksmith.
"Do you have a diamond pickaxe for sale?" I asked.
"Yes, 20 emeralds," He said.
I hand him the emeralds and left back to my house. I started a mine at the back of my house and mined down till I hit deepslate. I could hear lava nearby so I mined around till I found it. I took out a bucket of water and placed it on top of the lava making obsidian. I grabbed as much as I could before my pick broke and won't back to the surface.
I made the portal frame with the least amount needed and lit it. Before I entered I put my valuables in my storage and grabbed my gear. I walked through the portal and found myself standing in the middle of the underworld. I looked around and saw a fortress close by. I made it to the fortress and entered.
I looked around the entire fortress and found a few items. The last balcony I checked had a cage in the middle. I moved to get a better look and a blaze appeared in front of me. I kept on fighting the blazes that showed up but there was no end to them. Once I felt I had enough of the blaze rods I ran to the portal back and disabled it when I made it to the overworld.
