Y/n POV

It's been a few hours since I left the gym, I've taken a shower made myself something to eat and now I'm on the phone with Ryo while she tells me about her date with Connie she had a few days ago.

"I'm telling you y/n he was so sweet and charming and didn't let me pay for anything, he all like "nah mamas I got it don't worry about paying for shit I asked you out." "Where did he take you?"
I asked

"First he took me to a arcade then we went out to eat and after we went walking downtown" she says "as long as you had a great time and I don't have to contact him then I'm happy too." I said cleaning up around my house a bit

"Hey why don't we have a girls night?" She asked and it didn't sound to bad I could definitely use some girl time

"Okay, yeah and we can paint have some wine food and watch movies sounds like a good night to me. Ill be over in fifteen to pick you up so we can get the stuff we need okay?" I asked

"Yeah okay just text me when your here" she said and hung up

After cleaning and straightening I went to my room to get dress, nothing fancy just some sweats a hoodie and a beanie since it was getting cold outside I decided to throw on some hoop earrings and slid on my crocs and grabbed my purse and keys and left to pick up Ryo.

once I got to her apartment I texted her letting her know I was outside, within a few minutes she was at the car. She had the same outfit on as me that we bought together just a different color.

"Hey girl, what you been up too?" I just sighed I really didn't feel like talking about anything that's been going lately but then again I haven't gotten anything off my chest I've just been bottling things up.

As I'm in my own headspace thinking ryo waves her hand trying to get my attention. "Y/nnn? You good girl?" She asked with a concerned face I can tell she was worried "hey..yeah yeah I'm good...just got a lot on my mind." I said rubbing my head as I put the car in drive and drove off to Walmart.

"Then tell me what's on your mind?, what's going on, you haven't been talking to me. I know all I've been doing is talking about me and Connie or just me and you always listen but now I'm ready to listen to you especially since you don't really have anyone but I'm here for you whenever you need." She said with a small smile

I smiled back and turned back to the road. "I'll tell you tonight."
"Promise?" "I promise"

We finally get to Walmart i park and we walk inside grabbing a buggy.

"Alright so what we getting?

"I was thinking we could do this thing I saw on Pinterest"

"Okay what is it?"

"Okay so each section we go to one of us closes our eyes and randomly point and when the other person says stop whatever they stop on is what we get and we do that for everything." I said

"Okay sounds interesting and fun lets try it."

We head to the arts and craft section and look at the paint. "Okay who goes first?"

"I'll go." "Okay close your eyes." She closes them
"Alright...GO" I said grabbing my phone to record her "annnnnnd stop" she stops and opens her eyes to see what she last pointed at which was a Apple barrel of multi-color paint and we just grabbed brushes.

Next we went to get snacks "alright your turn" i moved from the buggy and closed my eyes "okay start" i went down the isle waving my finger "annnnd stop" i open my eyes to see what we landed on, it was some regular ruffles i shrugged showing her then dropping them into the buggy. "Should we get the dip too?" I asked
