"I'm glad to see you safe and sound. I worried immensely after hearing that you disappeared." Zenon chided as they walked to find the exit of the hideout. "Your sister will also be happy to hear that you've been found. There's a carriage waiting outside. I will escort you to the castle with it."

"Well, aren't you well prepared?" Alexia said with suspicion. "How did you know where to find me?"

"I sensed your magic of course." He replied with confidence. "Although we were surprised to see a monster burst forth. Of course, the knights have led the monster away. And I took the chance to rush in here."

"Is that so." Alexia stops in her tracks, sensing something off. "...Instructor Zenon. The thing is, my magic was sealed until just a few moments ago." She eyed him intently. "Even if you picked up traces of my magic, it wouldn't have been so easy to pinpoint my location so quickly."

The expression on Alexia's face now displayed her full suspicion toward the surprised man.

"Such a swift rescue is above even your capabilities. It's almost as if you already knew where I was... did you really come here to rescue me?" The question left the instructor speechless. "Instructor? Is something the matter?"

"Oh it's nothing..." He put his palm over his face. "I'm just astonished at how much of a pain in the ass you are princess." The sudden shift in his tone puts her off. "You didn't need to make this harder than it had to be. But as you suspected, you were right! This facility is mine! I'm the one who funded that man's work!"

He then reveals his disturbed face hidden under his palm, madness ringing out of his voice paired with the annoyance that his job had become such a pain.

"And now, you're coming with me! Alexia!" He ogled with intensity, showing his true self in front of his supposed fiancé.

Feeling that the situation has turned for the worst, Alexia drew out the sword she took a while ago from the corpse of a knight, ready to defend herself against the new foe before her.

"Did you say that this facility is yours?" She interrogated but kept cautious of him. "That means, you're also my kidnapper!"

"Your deduction is correct." He sounded impressed. "You're an important ingredient for an experiment you see."

"I don't want to know that kind of operation you're running. But the man you were funding got smashed to pieces by the monster. Too bad for you-"

*slash*

"Ughk!" The princess recoiled from the sudden pain on her thigh as blood sprayed out in a flash, with Zenon drawing his sword back from the quick attack.

"It doesn't matter. As long as you're blood is safe." He cocked.

"Ugh! Again with my blood! Are you researching vampires or what?!"

"You don't need to concern yourself with that. Just stay quiet and come with me." His face warped even more. "As long as I have you and the research results, I will be granted the twelfth seat of The Round! I'll finally be more than just a stupid instructor!"

"Round?" She tilted her head in novelty.

"The twelve knights supporting the cult. The Knights of the Round. Whoever bears the title will attain rank, fame, and wealth! They have been made aware of my skills already. So I only need results now, and with your blood, the last condition will be fulfilled. Although I'd have much preferred Princess Iris instead."

Hearing his comment struck a nerve in the young princess, causing her to convulse in anger.

"Oh, apologies. You hate being compared to her right?"
