Chapter 8 The Battle Part 3

While they were running to get back to the battle Myrtlepaw noticed that Appleshine, Brindlewing, and Flutterpaw and the elders stayed behind. But that was reasonable whereas the elders could not fight and they needed some protection if other cats came or another animal came. When we made it back to the battle site everyone was already fighting. So I asked Harestar what we were going to do and he said; "we were going to find a way to stop the battle." He also said "because my warriors won't fight their clan-mates. Ok then, what do we do?" Try to find warriors that look reluctant to fight". Harestar said. "Can I get someone to help me with that please". I said. "Yes, come over here Whistlepaw and Songpaw. Harestar said. "You are going to help Myrtlepaw find warriors that are reluctant to fight so that they don't fight." Harestar said. "Ok, let's go." Myrtlepaw said. "Whistlepaw you go left, Songpaw you go around and I will go right." "Ok you can do this!" Thought Myrtlepaw. "Just find WindClan warriors that don't want to fight." At first it looked like all cats were wanting to fight when she saw WindClan warrior; Featherpelt, she looked like she was not enjoying this fight. So she went over and it looked like she was fighting Birchfall. So I told them; "You guys stop fighting, Harestar is here and does not want his warriors to fight!" So they flung apart. I told Birchfall to go look for warriors that did not want to fight. And I told Featherpelt where to go. So I went to look for more warriors. And I saw Larkwing who was not enjoying this either. She was grappling with Poppyfrost. I told both of them; "stop Harestar is here he does not want cats fighting". I told larkwing where to go and I told Poppyfrost what to do.

So by then I stopped about 8 cats from fighting, and there weren't many more cats fighting. By then since there weren't many cats fighting it was quiet enough for Harestar to yowl; "WINDCLAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" And then every cat stopped fighting, even Bramblestar. Harestar said to the WindClan cats, "What are you doing!!!!!!!!!" Crouchfoot said; "We were attacking them." 'I can see that, this ThunderClan apprentice right here. He said pointing with his paw. "This ThunderClan cat awoke the WindClan camp where some of you WindClan cats knocked out your own clan-mates." Most of them looked shocked as if they didn't do it. But some of them looked guilty. So then the battle stopped and WindClan went back home, and I accidentally overheard Harestar saying that his warriors who participated were going to get punished.
