Chapter 6 The Battle

Myrtlepaw was so excited this was her first battle but then again she could die. But that was not going to happen; she had her clan mates that would not let anything happen to her. Myrtlepaw wanted to know who she was battling because she had almost completed training all of the other clans battle moves. She tried to ask the other warriors but they did not know either. She finally made it to Bramblestar to ask him but she did not have to because he was staring right at them. IT WAS WINDCLAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How dare those fox hearts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Myrtlepaw thought, though she dare not say those words to them. She did not know if WindClan had a reason but then she saw that there were not a lot of them and in fact she did not even see Harestar. And she did not see Crowfeather. "Gasp" this attack was against the code!!!!!!!! "Bramblestar,'' she whispered, '' I do not see Harestar or Crowfeather. I think this is an against the code attack. Yes I know", said Bramblestar. "Will you go tell him please? I need to know I can count on you.O..o..of c..c..course" Bramblestar she stammered. She was being given a really important task. "I will go now." So off she was racing to the WindClan camp when something hit her in the side. She scrambled up to see a Windclan warrior. She recognized this warrior from gatherings; he was Oatclaw. And thank StarClan he lithe so he would not be able to smash her. She sprang at him but was knocked aside but he was not fast enough to get out of the way before she drove him into a tree and knocked him out. "Whoo.". Myrtlepaw was out of breath but she needed to make it to the WindClan camp so she ran as fast as she could to the WindClan camp and when she got there she saw something terrible.
