Lilith woke up and jumped out of bed. She rushed through the house, grabbed all her stuff, quickly got dressed, and ran out the front door. "Bye, mom! Bye, dad!" She said as she shut the door and ran down the stairs and through the gate. "Happy early halloween!" All the residents said to her as she rushed to Briar's house. She quickly knocked on Briar's door, her hand rapidly shaking with excitement. Briar opened the door, a smile spreading across his face as he realized who was standing on the other side. He looked up at Lilith and noticed her bright red santa hat topping off her usual outfit. "Time to pay a visit to Christmas Town!" She said enthusiastically. "Yeah!" Said Briar, who was excited to see Lilith excited. Lilith giggled and grabbed Briar's hand, pulling him along as she jogged in the way of Lock, Shock and Barrel's house.
As the two of them approached Lock, Shock and Barrel's house, their cage dropped down to meet the ground and they all popped out one by one. "You guys ready to go to Christmas Town?" Asked Shock. Lilith put her hands in the air, bringing Briar's hand with them. "Yeah!" Said Lilith eagerly. The three trick or treaters moved out of the way to reveal a walking bathtub in the cage behind them. The bathtub strolled up to Lilith and Briar, who looked at it confusedly. "Get in, it'll take you to the door." Said Barrel, as the other two started cackling behind him. Lilith and Briar looked at each other nervously, but cautiously stepped into the bathtub anyway. "Here," Said Lock, handing Lilith a very stale Christmas cookie in the shape of a tree, "You're gonna go through the door that looks like this." As soon as Lilith grabbed the cookie, the bathtub started walking away. Lock Shock and Barrel went back up into their house, watching Lilith and Briar as they were pulled up in the cage. Once they got inside, a little centipede crawled out of Shock's hair, she put her finger out for the bug to crawl onto, and held it in front of her. "The kids are on their way to Christmas Town now, boss." Said Shock. "Good." The bug said in a high pitched version of Oogie Boogie's voice, "I'm sure once they get a look, they won't be able to help themselves from giving it a few...renovations. Jack's kids always have been mighty enthusiastic about Halloween, especially that Lilith." The trick or treaters chuckled.
The bathtub walked through the forest, navigating its way between the trees, until it reached an open circle. Lilith and Briar got out of the tub, and looked around at the surrounding trees, each with its own uniquely shaped door, all representing different holidays. Lilith held up the cookie, comparing it to each door individually. "There!" Said Briar, pointing to the Christmas tree shaped door. Lilith turned around and held up the cookie to the door Briar was pointing at. "Looks like a perfect match!" Said Lilith, "so, you ready to go to Christmas Town, Briar?" She said, opening the door. Briar opened his mouth to answer, but before he could he and Lilith were swept up by a gust of wind and pulled through the door. "Woah!" They both yelled, pulling each other towards themselves. They held each other tightly as they fell for what felt like too long. Eventually they landed in a huge pile of snow. They let go of each other and Briar got up, before helping Lilith to get up after him. "What's this?" Asked Lilith and Briar simultaneously, looking around at the snow.
