Author's note: Sorry for the short chapter today, I was caught up watching the new batch of JoJo episodes, my eyes were glued to the screen! I'll write an extra long chapter next week, hope you enjoy!

The elves cheered and danced, ecstatic about Christmas eve arriving. As the elves jumped up and down, a large shadow appeared on the snow, bouncing up and down with a cheerful "ho, ho, ho!" Lilith's teeth chattered and Briar hid their face behind their hands, both afraid of the Christmas spirit and seemingly endless joy exhibited by the residents of Christmas Town. An elf walked out of one of the buildings holding a large sack, dragging it across the ground towards the large shadow. As the elf tried his hardest to pull the sack, he slipped in the snow and dropped it. Suddenly, all at once, a thousand toys jumped out of the sack. These weren't just any old toys, however, they were much creepier. Vampire teddy bears and living Christmas wreaths rampaged the town, as elves ran about screaming in absolute terror. Lilith's fear turned instantly into delight, she burst out laughing and fell to the ground rolling around not able to contain herself. Briar peeked out from between her fingers and let out a sigh of relief, before chuckling along with Lilith. Lilith got up and the two friends leaned on each other trying not to fall to the ground again, while making a pointless attempt to contain their laughter.

In all the commotion, the large shadow came out, revealing himself to be a jolly old man. Lilith ceased her laughter upon the sight, "Sandy Claws?" She asked herself, staring in awe at the man in red. Lilith ran up to him to shake his hand, but when he laid his eyes on her he gasped in disbelief. "Jack? What are you doing to Christmas again?" He said. "Oh, I'm not Jack, I'm his daughter Lilith." Said Lilith, "My dad has told me lots of good things about you, I'm glad to finally meet you in person." She reached out her hand, and Sandy reached out his. "Why, you have hands! You don't have claws at all!" Said Lilith, closely examining Sandy Claws's hand. "Lilith, you seem very nice and all, but this is MY holiday! You can't just scrap the whole thing and make these haunted toys and ruin my town!" Said Sandy, firmly but sympathetically. Lilith paused for a moment. "You misunderstand, sir," she said, "I'm not scrapping your holiday, I'm improving it!" She spread her arms wide, gesturing to the entire town. "I'm sure halloween is probably known far and wide for being the greatest holiday of all time," said Lilith confidently, "actually, Christmas—" Sandy interrupted, "so I'm merely doing you a favour in making your holiday more...Halloween-y!" Lilith continued. Sandy looked around at the mess of a town surrounding him. Elves were everywhere screaming in terror, horrifying toys crowded the ground and the skies, Briar was playing fetch with a shrunken head, it was terrible. Sandy looked concernedly back at Lilith, but she didn't see his gaze, she was already walking back towards Briar.
