10: Backstory 4

After a sleepless night, Lian finally decided to push his luck. He has decided to see Kuea. He used the company's investment project to visit the university Kuea's in. However, he didn't expect the consequence of his action. The moment Lian's presence touched Kuea, the link was triggered. Lian, after finding out that Kuea passed out, immediately went to the clinic where he was staying.

Though Lian already decided to just give Kuea essence, he ended up giving him something more. Probably because he couldn't stop himself from touching his beloved after months of no contact.

After that final kiss, Lian left Kuea. Filled with regrets and self-loath, Lian spent his night alone thinking of ways to make Kuea remember him.

After getting a call that Kuea was at Gemini, Lian rushed to see him. Upon loosing his memory, Kuea started doing things he wanted to. Thus, creating the persona of Kirin, the talented drummer slash singer of Gemini. Lian couldn't believe it when he watched Kuea's first performance that his assistant sent him. The chance of seeing his beloved perform live was something Lian wouldn't miss.

Indeed, Kuea's performance was amazing. Lian couldn't believe how his ever submissive and lovely Kuea could sing and play like a pro. Naturally, Lian watched afar as Kuea started mingling with strangers. Questions then rushed on Lian's mind.

Now he questions their relationship, the person he knew to be Kuea. The calm and angelic lover he'd known since they were young is now dancing wildly with a glass of whatever in his hand. However, the sight made Lian's heart flutter. As if he's finally seeing his beloved without his façade, free and happy.

Lian could see how Kuea started feasting on everyone's energy. He was also triggered when a man suddenly approached Kuea but soon calmed down when Kuea shut the stranger down. Lian knew that no matter how much essence Kuea takes from these people, it would never satisfy his craving. It was because only Lian could do it but he couldn't help but be jealous

Worried of Kuea's drunk state, Lian decided to approach the young one.

"Kuea, time to go home." Lian called out as he held Kuea by the waist.

"Hey let me--- oh? Hey handsome..." Kuea suddenly had his interest on the man wearing a black shirt in front of him.

Kuea's hands started moving from Lian's chest to his neck, slowly pulling him forward.

"Nu-Kuea... you're being naughty." Lian whispered as Kuea let out a sly smile before locking eyes with the stranger.

"You... Look..." Kuea whispered, Lian anticipating that he remembers him.

"I... need to puke..." Kuea stated as he let go of Lian and ran to the bathroom.

Lian stood behind Kuea as the latter threw up on one of the cubicle. Lian looked at the wasted Kuea in disbelief. He never knew someone could get wasted but still look cute at the same time.

After wiping Kuea's mouth with tissue, Lian assisted him out the club. However, as soon as they reached the entrance, Kuea got a grip of the situation.

"Hey! Where are you taking me, you asshole! You can't kidnap me, fucker! I can kill you!" Kuea exclaimed as he freed himself from Lian's grasp, leaning his back on the wall and crossing his arms in protest.

"Nu Kuea, don't be stubborn. You need to go home. You're drunk." Lian said calmly as he held the young one's arm.

"No! Only Diao can take me home!" Kuea insisted, making Lian eyebrows furrow in irritation and probably jealousy.

"And don't call me Nu-Kuea! I don't even know you!" Kuea exclaimed, Lian biting the inside of his cheek at the realization that he was forgotten.

"I can walk on my own! I'll get a can---cab on my own so don't --- don't gdudibdk!" Kuea mumbled as he walked pass Lian.
