CHAPTER 26

AUDRESYNE

"Attention! Lock your gaze to the front!" I declared with a stern voice, causing them to snap to attention, their gaze fixed straight ahead. Upon my arrival at the east side of the palace, they were already aligned in perfect formation.

As I made my way to the east side of the palace, there was a forest with towering trees. Among the towering trees, some sacks are hanging from the branches.

"The sacks you see now will be your adversaries. Now, allow me to show you how to combat them," I said with a serious tone.

Without wasting a moment, kaagad na akong nagtungo sa pinakamalapit na puno kung saan naroon nakabitay ang sako sa sanga na nagsisilbing punching bag.

"All you need to do is to punch, dodge, kick, and block," I spoke in a manner that conveyed the gravity of the situation.

Mula sa aking kinatatayuan ay kita ko ang mga taong seryoso na nakikinig at nanood sa gagawin ko. I could even sense the king's gaze fixed upon me with an intensity that seemed to pierce through my very being. Yet, I made a conscious choice not to cast a single glance in his direction, disregarding his presence entirely. Hindi ko man lang naramdaman na sumunod pala siya sa akin. 

Malakas kong sinuntok ang sako, dinig sa buong paligid ang tunog ng aking pagsuntok, umugoy ang sako palayo at nang makitang sumuray ito papunta sa akin ay agad akong umilag, saglit akong bumuwelo bago nagpakawala ng malakas na sipa sa sako at sinangga ito ng mabilisan gamit ang nakaekis na braso upang pigilang matamaan ako nito nang pabalik ito sa aking puwesto. Paulit-ulit ko iyong ginawa sa loob ng 20 minutes ngunit iba-iba ang techniques. Even if I have already bruises and small cuts on my fist, I didn't bother and just endured it instead. I admit that I felt a twinge, pero dahil sanay na ako, para lang itong kinurot. 

Hinihingal akong tumigil sa pag-atake at malamig na nilingon ang mga tauhan.

"So, it's your turn to show me. Just follow how I  attacked and defended. If you feel like you're getting lost in the proper fight, just take a break and give it another try. Do you copy?"

"Copy, your majesty!" pasigaw na sumagot ang lahat. 

"Start now!" anunsyo ko, hudyat na maaari na silang umatake sa sako.

Tahimik at seryoso na inoobserbahan ko sila. Pero halos mapaigtad ako nang may bigla-bigla na namang braso ang yumapos sa aking baywang. Kamuntikan ko nang gawing punching bag ulit ang taong yun kung hindi lang niya mabilis na nahawakan ang aking kamao.

"Relax, baby. It's me." 

Sinamaan ko ang tarantadong hari. Why the hell is he so fucking clingy? I saw how his brows furrowed when he noticed my wounded fist. 

"Indeed that I agreed to let you train and teach my men how to fight, but I don't remember agreeing to let you get hurt, Audresyne," he said, his words carrying a cold and distant tone.

"Bakit? Have you already forgotten that you indeed the cause of the bruises of my womanhood after you own me? May salita ba ako? Pagbabanta, oo. Pero hindi kita sinisisi, kung 'di iyong malaki at dambuhala mong tit— " he immediately cut me off as his eyes widen in surprise.

"Baby!" He clenched his teeth and looked at me darkly.

"Bakit? Isn't it true?" we have this competitive stare towards each other. "One week, Zarcaen. Almost one week mo rin akong nilumpo. Kahit ilang araw na ang lumipas, I can still be able to feel my soreness a little bit. At hindi na ka makakaulit pa— Zarcaen!"
