Taurel's POV

"You think you can move on that easily? You are a clingy bitch Raul. Even after 2 years you still wear the sweater I bought you..." The girl said.

The guy looked both sides and said, "I won't bother with you Bridgette cause I don't want my fiance to come find me with you hear. I love her too much to loose her."

Our eyes met and I could see him begging for help. I crossed my hands together and said,"Hey guys? Babe, who's your friend?" Raul looked relieved and said,"Are you don't? Oh and this is my ex." I rolled my eyes and said,"Babe,you said that you won't talk to her for the sake of our kids! Are you kidding me right now?"

They both looking surprised and then the bitch asked, " Kids?" I rolled my eyes then said," Yes.Our kids not unless you want to miss out on the quad's life too like how you missed on the triplets." The girl gasped.

" How many kids do you have?" I rolled my eyes and said, " seven bitch. Keep up!" She gasped." How?" The guy said, "Well,when you were busy "helping" our neighbor an I was on a work trip,I was with her and that's how we have kids."

The girl looked shocked and asked," you mean five years ago?" " Yes!" He answered. I nodded and said," The nannies called an they said the kids are okay. Let's go wait for us to be called back.

We all went back in. And it was our turn. I looked at the secretary as she said,"Taurel, Bridgette, Terry and Raul, you are going back in. I pulled Raul's hand and said," Idk what's going on with your life but here is where you help me back. I said I'm married. What did you say?"

He smiled then said," I said I have a fiance with kids." I smiled and we got in. I gave him a paper with my kids name and age. I was just writing it down for fun but God knew it would help somewhere.

We went in and sat together. " Now that you are all here, we have decided the position we will give you." The lady on the left said. Before she could continue the other one interrupted.

"Wait, why is there tension between you guys?" Ofcause the bitch had to ran her mouth. "We'll meet Raul, my ex and his stupid fiance with kids... He cheated when we were in a relationship!"

I smiled then Raul said, "I was returning the favor so..." "Raul, let it be. If this company will decide based on our relationship or personal life, I'm ready to get a job somewhere else."

He nodded and I turned to the two women. "I'm really sorry for the love triangle drama but we will ease the job for. I'll leave but Raul can decide otherwise. Give him the job. "I got up ready to leave when the lady who asked about the tension said," first, I don't let anyone talked to me or my wife like that and second, I asked a question because we do not tolerate nonsense in our company!"

"So, as my wife was saying, we've come to a decision about your positions here. Taurel, you and your husband or fiance, will be our assistants. Personal assistants. Bridgette, you will be Jacob's assistant, that's the head of human resources and Terry, you will be working with the first aid department. You are to report tomorrow at 7am."

We stood and left the room. We headed out and I asked Raul to go with me to the nearest coffee shop. Raul filled me with how her girlfriend cheated on her for the 7 years they were together. He was living with her best friend who to my surprise was a head of the pediatric dep.

We went by to his home and we talked to Angelina. She said that Raul can rent out the spare room at my house. I was skeptical at first but they gave me the solution of putting cctv cameras around the house.

Later that evening I did and then called the two to tell them the cameras are set. I told the kids all about the two new possible friends.

Raul and Angelina got along with the kids way too fast. And everything was ready. Angelina (Lina) showed me a school with daycare and enrolled the kids.

It's been 2 years since I started working here. Was it easy? Well only the first 3 months but then everything became really weird. My bosses started treating me like I was some sort of a criminal. Well, partially being black was a problem but after a few months,I got a DNA report that I was 50% kenyan, 30% Caucasian and 20% mixed-ish.

It was crazy at first but then I understood why I'm this light. I didn't bother telling anyone even my new two besties. At work I'd get left behind late due to last minute "little" more work.  Raul found an apartment after the three months.

Little after 6 months, work started being unbearable. I had to get a new friends whom to be honest I had to get from Kenya. She was my highschool best friend.

Kira was everything a friend should have. She was like my live in nanny. She was a nanny from an early age so when I offered, she said yes. She was supposed I had kids. She came and she didn't really get along with Raul.

The kids became distant with Raul saying the just like hanging out with aunt kira instead. At first I thought kira was telling them that untill Gina told me that they no longer felt as if he was part of the family.
