HER NOT SO LITTLE FAMILY

Taurel's POV

Well, now that I'm thinking about Mrs Danielle and her so rude wife Mrs Samantha, they haven't been in the office for the past two weeks. I feel like it's the calm before the storm.

I get spooked out by anything or random coincidental occurrences. I'm in their office rearranging files when I hear the door open. I look down as I'm used to them saying I'm not worth enough to be eye on eye with them.

I excused myself after they sat down and as I reached the door, Mrs Sam's arrogant voice said, "This envelope is for you." I took it and left. I sat on my desk and opened it. It was a notice from the court saying that the kids are being taken by the social service if I don't appear to the court on Monday 17th which was last week.

I called kira only to tell me that the social service lady is coming to the office. A few minutes later, I was in my office with my lovely kids and two ladies. I hugged the kids and said, "I got the letter today... I don't know why I didn't get it from my home address."

" The woman nodded then said, "A call was made that you leave the kids for long hours without supervision... They looked neglected to them and hungry." I was about to talk when Andy said, " Auntie kira stays with us when mommy is working. "

Sometimes it's sad but she calls us and we see her work until we sleep." I just turn to my kids and ask, "who would like a tour of the famous delpart?" They jumped happily and and I asked kira to go with them. My bosses were given me hateful eyes but I didn't care.

I asked,"And sis you investigate about the accusations?" They nodded and I asked, "so you are taking the kids away because you found proof?" One lady shook her head and said, "The proof is here." She opened her phone and I heard kira and the girls laughing.

"Auntie kira, does kidney has stones?" Kira laughed then said,"No baby. Where did you hear that?" I knew where this will go. I asked politely, "Can we turn that off? I think we've heard enough." Mrs Sam said, " Why? Are you hiding anything?" I shook my head.

Lia said, " Andy heard mommy talking on the phone about a kidney stone. She said that mommy was saying that she will go to the hospital when her boss gives her a leave... What's a leave auntie kira? "

They all looked at me but I rolled my eyes. Kira choked on her drink then said, " I think mommy meant someone from the hospital has that. Your mommy is too strong for that. " The girls said yeah at the same time.

Gina then said, " I asked Mrs Collins if someone could die if they have kidney stones and she said yes. I don't want anyone to die... " "Who wants ice cream?" I heard kira ask. Ice cream? It's a cold day dumb ass!

I called her and said fast, "no ice cream wack head!" She laughed then said ok. I then turned to people in the room then asked, "Are you going to separate them? I know that right now no one would believe I'm a fit mother so if you would please give me sometime with them, I'll appreciate."

I then turned to my bosses and said, "I'm really sorry this is the second time my personal life has been exposed at work. If you feel the need to fire me, it's totally understandable. Lovely day."

I walked out and to look for the kids. Yes I have kidney stones but who cares? We went home and I had to listen to kira scolding for an hour then she started crying.

I laughed at her dumb ass and told her about my plan. Since I was going to be fired anyway, I got an appointment for the following day we the Dr. Grace.

She's a really good doctor. I cleaned up that night and prepared mentally for the following day. I explained to the girls about the kidney stones and that they'll be with kira until I'm back. I asked kira not to let anyone near the kids not unless it's the social service.

The following day I went in and went through the surgery. Was it a success? No. I flatlined three times and one new kidney refused to cooperate. I was given an emergency new one who the owner is unknown. I'm my mind, I was thinking it's kira.

I was there for a week. My bosses never called or anything. It was give days in that hospital and Dr. Grace was really helpful. She looked a little bit on her mid fifties but still had a touch in fashion. Somehow she made me think about the two bossy assholes.

I was talking to Dr. Grace when someone budged in. I looked at the door and saw the last two people I expected. "Mom, what are you doing in the country?" A very familiar voice said. Ofcause now it makes sense. This is Mrs Danielle's mom. I smiled then said, "Dr. Grace, I think in all good now. You can go talk to your visitors."

The three looked at me then Mrs Sam said, "Were here to talk to you. When is the soonest you can come back to work?" I rolled my eyes and said, "Not anymore. I sent my resignation to you guys. The last thing I want is to be on the wrong side of people like you."

"People like them?" Dr. Grace asked. I nodded then said, "People like them. Their aura is really dominant. They look like they take whatever they want and the last thing I would like is to be with someone who screams danger. I have kids your know?"

" Wait,is that what you meant when you were talking to Raul about us?" I looked at then stupidly then it clicked. " Oh yeah... celebration of my three months there. How do you know about that conversation? I was with Raul and Lina onl- now I get it. Raul told you. Guilt ate him up and he moved out. Then Lina knew and started becoming too busy at the hospital until we stopped hanging out. Is that why you became complete a-holes? "

They didn't answer. I rolled my eyes." Sorry to say this but you are pussies if you can take insults. Good thing I'm no longer working for you cause if you don't take insults and my patients had ran thin then I was bound to be fired sooner than later. " I laughed my ass off but I regretted it immediately.

The pain was unbearable. The two looked taken aback but Dr Grace was whizzing as she laughed. My phone started ringing and I picked it. " Hello there ass hole..." Jewel said fro the other end." Hello to you too babe. Missed me already? Or did you miss pulling my hair?" I heard her laughing and I had to laugh too. We became besties and now her and her girlfriend Amani are coming to visit.

"Babe, who's that laughing? Don't tell me someone snatched you away." I laughed then said, "You though our long distance relationship will be honest? Well there's this doctor, she's around 54-56 and she's really sweet. Wanna know more?"

I laughed and she caught up on my game.
