Dream's POV:

I hung up on Discord and took off my headphones, placing them on the desk. I took a moment to look at my reflection in the empty monitor before sighing and spinning in my chair. I stood up and left the office.

I skidded down the hallway in my fluffy socks, running my hand against the wall the whole way. I came to the door frame of my room, trying to grab on to it to stop myself from sliding. I missed, and ran into the wall, falling to the floor and shaking the house.

I heard laughing coming from my room. I pried myself off the ground and rubbed my elbow as I cautiously tip-toed towards the giggling.

I looked at Sapnap, who was sitting on my bed and petting Patches, who looked disturbed. I guess the sound of me eating shit scared her, too.

"How the hell did you even fall?" said Nick.

"I was trying to slide across the floor," I admitted, putting my head down.

 "Did you fall your ass?"

"Why, do you wanna kiss it?"

 He smirked. "I just might."

Nick is so cute when he flirts.

He was sitting on my bed, wearing black jeans and a white t-shirt that said "Georgenotfound." It was a little baggy on him, revealing his collarbone.

 "Anyways. What's up?"

Sapnap put his head to the side, seemingly distracted by the glass bottles on the nightstand. I walked over and waved my hand in front of his face to pull him back into reality. "Hello? Anybody in there?"

He slowly turned his gaze towards me, our eyes meeting. His were glassy, and his whole face seemed glazed. I stared at him, admiring his deep, brown pupils, filled with some kind of sadness. I was mesmorized. They drew me in, grabbing me, drowning me. I wanted to keep sinking, keep wallowing in the depths of his eyes. I was falling into them, no way out, eternally stuck in his perfect void. At last, he sighed and tore away, ripping me out, showing me the exit I hoped I wouldn't find.

"Dream, what if I said I wanted to see Alex?"

I was shocked, to say the least. The fact that George and I had been talking about visiting him only moments ago was funny to me. Either Sapnap was eavesdropping, or he's a goddamn phsycic.

"Well, Sapitus Napitus, it just so happens that I was jus chattin' our good friend, Mr. Not Found, and we saw the conclusion and, it's no illusion, we might just see Quackers around, you down?"

Nick gave me the absolute most confused look I'd ever seen. "What in the Fifa World Cup did you just say?"

I started wheezing, letting go of my elbow and putting my hand on his shoulder to support myself. "Sorry," I said in between laughs, "Wilbur just introduced me to 'Hamilton,' and I think I'm on my Lafayette arc."

"Were you just trying to free-style your own version of 'Guns and Ship?'" asked Sapnap. "Dream, you'll never be Mr. Marquis. You sound like Dr. Seuss."

"Fuck off. Anyways, George and I were just talking about driving to see him."

 "Wait, who, Dr. Seuss?"

 "No, what the hell? Quackity!"

Nick smacked his forehead sarcastically. "Ooohh! Sorry, I got so caught up in the whole, 'Clay Cosplaying as Important Historical Figures + Dr. Seuss' thing you had going on. Continue."

"Wha-- okay. George basically said that he was going to fly out here and drive with us to California so that we could all visit Alex."

"Oh, that's cool." He nodded his head, before his eyes lit up and slammed his hands on the bed, scaring Patches.

 "WAIT, GEORGE IS COMMING?"

"Woah, Sapnap, why would I know that?" I said jokingly.

 "WHEN?"

I wanted to make it a surprise, so I have him as little information as possible.

"Let's just say you should start packing."

Nick grinned like a little kid before I realized it was too late to take back my words.

"You want me to start packing, Dream? That's not very DNF of you."

"Why don't you take that smile of yours and shove it up your a-"

"Also I don't have anything to pack," he interupted.

 "I know," I snickered.

 "That's not funny."

"We'll just go clothes shopping when George gets here. If you want something specific from your house, we can go, but I think we emptied it out for the most part."

 "Nah, I'm fine."

"'Kay, well I guess I'll let you, umm, hmmm... Give me a minute, I'm trying to come up with another word instead of pack."

"Collect my items for the t-"

"I'll let you collect your items for the trip."

"Wow, so original, Dream! I wish I could be like you!" he mocked, flipping me off. I stood up and walked to the door, stopping to look back.

 "Oh, and Nick?" I said.

 "Yeah?"

 "I'm proud of you."

He looked at me with a soft smile, blushing, our eyes meeting one more time. "Thanks, man. I owe you, like, a lot."

"Hell yeah, you do. Hell, yeah."
