Jungkook and Jimin keep on seeing each other in secret. Going far away so that no one can spy on them.
Jungkook knows he's falling deeper for Jimin and he doesn't regret it. This is his first time getting to do something for himself, rather than what his father orders. He feels free despite the secrecy.
They are currently at the river and Jungkook holds his hand tightly. "How are you these days?"
"Really full, but also empty. Does that make sense? When I'm with you, I'm practically overflowing, but when I'm not, I'm empty and alone." Jimin's honest with his answer.
Jungkook heavily sighs. "I feel the same, and I hate how we have to hide our relationship. I badly want to let anyone know that I'm yours and you're mine."
"Me too. I want to introduce you to the people of my kingdom and show them who will also help guide them."
"When can I love you freely? I hate my father so much, but Jimin, if I can't take it anymore, I'll definitely tell everyone."
"I want a family so bad. For a long time, I've been alone. The castle should have more people in it. It should be more lively."
Jungkook holds his hand tightly and he looks at him. "Are you ready to tell me what happened to your parents?"
"All I know is what I told you. They died in the fights between our species. They were murdered by vampires."
"Don't you want to know who did it to them? I can help you."
"I don't think I want to know. The last thing I want is to be overcome with vengeance. It's in the past. I just want peace. I just want to love you."
He looks down. "What if the culprit is still alive? What if they do it again? I don't want anyone to be hurt... If we want peace, we should find the one behind this."
"I will allow you to handle it. I refuse to hurt your kind. I don't know how I'd react to my parents' murderer."
He holds Jimin tightly. "Please trust me. I'll do my best to get the justice your parents deserve. I'll be careful not to get hurt."
"Thank you. Stay safe."
He looks at his watch. "I need to travel to my sisters now. Do you want to come with me or do you have plans?"
"I have work to do, but I would love to meet them soon."
Jungkook nods softly. "Okay. Please take care of yourself, okay? I love you."
"I love you too."
Jungkook doesn't want to leave yet, but he has to go now. "See you again."
When he turns around and is about to leave, Jimin grabs his wrist.
Jungkook turns around, confused. "Is there anything you want to say?"
Jimin looks at his lips.
"I just want a goodbye kiss to tide me over until we meet again."
