While Dr Hayley and Dr O'Connor were on their way to check on the Wild Boys, Dr O'Connor caught a glimpse of Dr Mills. The doctor is very handsome, slightly taller than Dr O'Connor and has dark blonde hair and gray eyes. "That's him," Dr Hayley teasingly said, which made Dr O'Connor blush. "Crap, what should I do?" Dr O'Connor asked. Dr Hayley didn't answer and just pushed Dr O'Connor in front of Dr Mills while she went up to Alex who watched the entire thing. "Errr hi Adrien," Dr O'Connor awkwardly said. "Oh hi Aiden, do you need anything?" Dr Mills asked. "Do you want to go out with me? Like a date or something?" Dr O'Connor asked. "Sure, I'll try to do it after our shift," Dr Mills said, patting Dr O'Connor's shoulder before leaving.
Dr Hayley and Alex gave each other hi-fives before Dr O'Connor went up to them. "I did it," Dr O'Connor excitedly said. "So proud of you, Aiden," Alex said. "Hey, should we check on our kids?" Dr Hayley asked. "Sure," Dr O'Connor said before he, Dr Hayley and Alex went to Nick's room. It has been a while since Nick and Simon had finished their breakfast and Nick fell asleep. "Nick's asleep, huh?" Dr Hayley asked. "Yeah, you switched out the immunosuppressants with the actual fever reducers, right?" Simon asked. "Yeah, and then we might have to test Nick for pulmonary fibrosis or heart problems, I'm afraid you might have an autoimmune disorder along the way caused by the immunosuppressants, like what happened to Curt and John," Dr Hayley said.
"I was born with mine, lupus sucks, especially when you're a guy," Richard said. "Did you lose hair though?" Andy asked. "A bit, yeah," Richard said. John and Curt lightly combed their hair with their fingers and some clumps of hair also came off. "Thanks a lot, steroids," Curt sarcastically said. "I think I need a haircut after this," John said, shaking off some hair from his hands. "Don't cut your hair, babe," Jim said. "Unless you want Curt's hairstyle," Roland said. "Errr I actually like it, the braided mullet I had a few months ago sucked," Curt said. "It's funny how you blame steroids for hair loss," Richard said while chuckling. "It's a true story, those things help with my lungs but there are also side effects," Curt admitted. "All medication have their side effects, sometimes really bad ones," John said.
"Why is Dr O'Connor blushing?" Roland playfully asked after seeing some red in Dr O'Connor's face. "He asked Dr Mills out," Dr Hayley said. "Dr who now?" Kate asked as Dr Mills entered the room. "Okay so I cleared my schedule and woah," Dr Mills said, pausing to process what's going on. "Are those your patients?" Dr Mills asked. "Long story," Dr O'Connor instinctively said. "Adrien, these are the students of Basildon Academy who are practically our patients," Dr Hayley said. "Why are they practically your patients?" Dr Mills asked. "Anne and Aiden have been their pediatricians, especially whenever they get sick. Anne is the only person who specialises in alien hybrids thanks to her father," Alex said. "No way, you're Dr Arthur Hayley's daughter," Dr Mills said.
"Yeah, and I'm the main pediatrician of the descendants of his test subjects, Curt, Roland, George, Andrew, Dave, Martin, Fletch, Alan, Simon, Nick, John, Jim, Andy, Roger, Chris, Kate, Maddy, Jon and Bryan," Dr Hayley said. "The other guy is Richard, he was the descendant of one of the Jews who were involved in a Nazi unethical human experimentation," Dr O'Connor said. "Well, hello you guys, pleasure to meet you, I'm Dr Mills," Dr Mills said. "What happened though?" Dr Mills asked. "Nick here has been suffering from chronic asthma lately and tachycardia, the asthma is caused by the beta blockers Rachel gave him," Dr Hayley said. "Of course it was Rachel, she jeopardises every doctor in this department," Dr Mills said.
"She does," Dr O'Connor said. "So, what are we going to do to him?" Dr Mills asked. "Let him rest, he's fighting a bad fever spike before we start doing tests, I'm suspecting he might have pulmonary fibrosis and heart problems because some jerk swapped his fever reducers with immunosuppressants," Dr Hayley said before Nick stirred awake in pain. "Hey, what happened?" John asked, sensing the distress. Simon palmed Nick's forehead before he started crying again. "Nicky, what's wrong?" Simon asked. Nick just shakily placed his hands on his face and cried more. "Can you breathe through your nasal cannula?" John asked, thinking that Nick might have a sinus infection. Nick shook his head. "Does your face or head hurt?" John asked before Nick nodded but seemingly regretted the movement afterwards.
