Chapter 9: Through the Meadow

Okay, I got this chapter covered already, but it wasn't anything special. I just added some Social Link events and some Persona bonding, couldn't help it. But I promise next chapter is where it's going to start getting interesting.

Tuesday 09/23

Basil opens his eyes, rubbing them after a bit of sunlight makes contact with his face. He gives himself a few stretches, groaning from the feeling. He sat up as he yawned, then caught sight of Aristaeus, leaning against the mattress. Basil smiled, he was always the first thing he would wake up to, company that would relieve him from the stress. He removes himself from his bed to get changed for school, and Aristaeus gets up from bed to get prepared as well.

As Basil got himself ready, he felt something being put onto his hair. He goes to remove what was there to see an orchid flower.

"An orchid," Basil said, then looking back at Aristaeus, "Where do you get that?"

"I grew it myself," his Persona answered, "I thought that I could make it into a hair clip like you had before, this time with a different flower."

Basil widened his eyes and smiled, "Wow, that's nice of you, Aristaeus. Thank you."

Aristaeus hummed endearingly, "You're welcome, I can always grow more of them."

"I don't mind, might as well grow a collection," Basil replied, "This sounds great, I can show it off to Aubrey and Kel!"

"Then I must get to it."

"Guess you do," he then cleans himself, "Alright, time to go eat."

Basil and Aristaeus exit out of the room, arriving at the table to see Aubrey sitting close by and Polly cooking breakfast.

"Morning, Basil," Aubrey greeted.

"Good morning," Polly said as well, "Did you sleep alright?"

"Yeah, I'm fine," Basil replied, sitting next to Aubrey.

"Hey, you got a new hair clip," she pointed out, "Where'd you get it?

"Oh, I planted some new flowers and I thought I could use one as a hair clip," Basil said, "I think this one is pretty, so I want to make it."

"Cool, are you going to have a collection of them of some sort?"

"I'm considering it, maybe I can make more and give them to you guys as well."

"That'll be great," Aubrey smiles, "So, do you have an idea that you have for me?"

"Well, I think I can use a gladiolus to stick onto your bow, somewhere that goes across to show it off," he thought.

"Hey, I like it. I think I can find a spare so you can use it."

"Sure, that'll be fine."

The conversation ended when Polly placed plates of food for the two to eat. They let themselves enjoy their breakfast before they could leave. Then, they depart out of the house to go to school, with Aristaeus following behind Basil. The two then continue where they left off earlier.
