Studio surpise (H-S)

Y/n POV:
I woke up due to the warm feeling of the sun shining through the curtains into my face. I grumbled lowly and turned around in bed expecting to be met with my girlfriend laying beside me. I stretched out my arm to pull Hailee into my embrace but to my disappointment, I was met with empty and cold sheets.

I opened one eye to see that in fact, I was alone. I huffed and turned back around, I pulled one arm out from under the blanket and double tapped my phone with one of my fingers, the screen lid up and showed me what time it is.

"God Hailee it's 8:15am where the hell are you at this time" I groaned to myself. I grabbed my phone and lifted it up discovering a little sticky note on my nightstand. I dropped my phone on the blanket and grabbed the note.

Hey baby
I'm sorry I wasn't there when you woke up, I went to the studio to finally get my album done but I don't know when I will be back it could get late my love but Martini is there to keep you company :)

I sighed and let my head flop back onto the pillow and for a few seconds I just laid there feeling the welcoming warmth on my left cheek. I stayed in this position for a while until I decided to get up and get ready for the day.

First I walked downstairs and looked at what Martini was doing, after I searched through the kitchen I found her in the living room. The little dog saw me and started running towards me waggling her tail. "Heyy little baby" I cooed as I scooped her up giving her kisses and scratches behind her ears.

After our little cuddle session I put her back down and opened the door to the garden so she could go outside while I get ready.

As I made my way to the bathroom I grabbed my phone from my bed. I played my Spotify playlist while I took a shower, brushed my hair and teeth and decided to go without makeup today. One hour or so later I was done in the bathroom and walked down to the kitchen.

I turned on the coffee machine and decided on two protein bars for breakfast. With my mug in one hand and a protein bar in the other I walked outside to the terrace just to see Martini running around and playing with some new toy Hailee got her a few days ago. Smiling at the sight in front of me I decided to put down the mug and grab my phone to take a video for Hailee.

Not long after I sent it to her she answered.

Haiz💗: oh my baby😍, looks like she having one of her moments again😅. I hope you slept well my love, I don't have that much time tho, I have to go back in a few, I love you<3

Y/n❤: she's having her moment for a while now but that's okay she's an angel😅, I love you too babe, have fun❤️

I turned off my phone and put it into the right pocket of my sweatpants. After watching that little dog running around like a maniac for a little longer I called out for her to come back in. While I continued sipping on my coffee I made some food for Martini.

Deciding on watching some episodes of Manifest I flopped down on the couch eating my second protein bar while Martini was busy munching on her food. When I was halfway through the episode Martini jumped up on my lap wanting some more scratches which she obviously got from me.

We sat together on the couch watching some episodes together before I got an idea. "Hey tini what do you think, should we surprise your momma?" I asked the little fur ball on my lap. Martini looked at me for a few seconds before letting out a small bark. I got up from the couch with tini in my arms and turned off the TV. Grabbing her dog harness, my car- and door keys and my shoes I made my way to the front door.

I sat down on the floor and put on Martini's harness before putting on my shoes and jacket. I walked with her to her car and sat her down in the passenger seat before I sat down in the driver's seat and turned on the engine.

The ride to Hailee's studio was about 30 minutes so I turned on some music while Tini was sleeping next to me the whole car ride over.

When I walked into the studio with tini in my arms I greeted the woman at the reception and got my studio ID.

I put Martini down and she walked close to me as we walked up the stairs to the second floor. We walked down the corridor, walked past a lot of doors with names on them until we found the big, white door with 'Hailee Steinfeld' written on it in big black letters. Slowly I opened the door peeking my head in first, when I felt something on my legs I looked down and saw Martini peeking her head in too. All I could see was Michael, a tall, bald and very nice guy, Hailee's producer sitting on the big table with many buttons and switches. I slowly walked in with tini and quietly closed the door behind us.

Hailee was in her booth performing one of her new songs as I walked towards Michael and tapped him on the shoulder, he turned around pulling off his headphones from one ear and started smiling as he saw me smiling down at him.

"Hey y/n, it's nice to see you again, how have you been?" Michael asked me enthusiastic, "It's nice to see you too, I've been good how have you been?", "I'm good I'm good, here take a seat" he said pulling out a chair beside him. I sat down pulling tini up to sit on my lap. "Oh heyy little one" Michael cooed as he patted her, Martini waggled her tail as she jumped back and forth between Michael and me.

The whole time Hailee has been in her own world she didn't even see me sitting here but when the song came to an end and Hailee opened her eyes looking up she opened her mouth to say something, then she saw me. I innocently waved at her as I saw the look of shock on her face. She ripped off her headphones and started to run out of the booth, at the same time I got up from the chair handing Tini over to Michael.

"Y/N BABY" Hailee called out as she tackled me into a bone-crushing hug. I buried my face into her neck breathing in her scent of roses and lemongrass, my arms wrapped around her waist while hers wrapped around my neck pulling me closer to her. When we pulled away I looked up into her eyes, we smiled at each other and leaned in into a loving kiss. For a moment Hailee and I were in our own world everything around us disappeared, but then, then Michael had to ruin this moment. He cleared his throat bringing us back to reality. "Sorry to interrupt ladies, but get a room" he laughed and Hailee smacked his shoulder chuckling.

For the rest of the day we stayed in the studio, we ordered takeout and laughed about stupid stories and jokes we told each other while tini was sleeping in her dog bed which Hailee had in the studio for when she took Martini with her.

Michael handed me a pair of headphones as I sat beside him on the big table. Hailee was getting ready to perform the next song and when Michael gave me the go I gave Hailee thumbs up and Michael started the song.

Heyy guys, I hope you're all okay:) I'm still kinda sick but it's getting better with everyday tho so yeah, make sure to drink enough water and eat something, also don't forget to take a break to breathe whether it's from homework or work or whatever, make sure to look after yourself guys.
