I do NOT have any problem with bruce, this is just for the story
Y/n POV: It was 7:40pm and I was sitting on the floor in front of the mirror finishing my makeup for the party Tony decided to do this evening. I was so concentrated on my eyeliner that I didn't notice Natasha walking in. It was when I turned to grab my l8ipstick that I noticed Nat sitting on our bed looking at me smiling. "How long have you been sitting there" I chuckled squinting my eyes and Nat let out a laugh before answering, "Not so long my love."
I grabbed my lipstick and applied it slowly, the lipstick was a shade of bright red, not too bright tho. It was perfect in my opinion. When I was done I looked at myself in the mirror and smiled satisfied before standing up and looked through my closet for something to wear, after a few minutes I decided on this dress:

I walked out of the walk-in closet to show the dress to my girlfriend and when she looked at me her jaw practically dropped. "You're-damn you're so beautiful" she stammered as she walked towards me. "Look at yourself my love, you're gorgeous" I smiled at her. (imagine the stuff she was wearing at the AOU party)
"I really like your lipstick, can I have some too?" she asked innocently and I nodded reaching out for it on the dresser, Natasha tho had other ideas, she grabbed my face and smashed her lips onto mine, smirking as she pulled away, I on the other side was completely flustered.
As I got myself together I went to check in the mirror if the lipstick was still on point and we grabbed our heels before walking downstairs hand in hand. As we arrived at the party lounge we heard several wolf whistles but we decided to ignore them and walk to the bar. Nat went behind the bar and I decided to sit down on one of the bar stools. Nat and I were just there sitting in silence when Bruce decided to show up.
"What a nice girl like you wind up working in a dump like this" he spoke and I squinted my eyes beside him. Nat smirked slightly and answered shortly "Fella done me wrong" while sighing, "got a lousy taste in men kid" bruce said and I rolled my eyes scoffing. "He's not so bad. He has a temper, deep down he's all fluff" This woman knows exactly what she's doing I thought as I sat in silence beside them. Bruce took a sip from the drink Nat just made him while looking at her. "All my friends are fighters" she paused for a second before continuing, "and here comes this guy spends his life avoiding the fight because he knows he'll win" she smiled "sounds amazing" he smirked and I became fed up.
"OKAY what in the actual fuck is going on" I spoke up annoyed and Bruce looked at me shocked, "Oh y-y/n hey, I didn't see you" he stammered, "Obviously, now piss off" I smiled sarcastically and he took his drink walking off. "What was that?!" I asked Natasha in disbelief. "Oh come on you know I was just joking" she smirked at me, "Yeah well I DO know that you were joking but Bruce is into you if haven't noticed yet" I told her still kinda pissed.
Nat walked out from behind the bar and came to my side kissing me slowly before handing me my drink and saying "Don't worry love, I'm all yours and only yours", "I hope so" I pouted and she kissed my lips a few times to kiss away the pout.
After a few hours every party guest was gone and it was only Thor, Steve, Tony, Rhodey, Dr. Cho, Maria, Clint, Bruce, Nat and I left so Nat and I decided to sit on the couches where everyone else was sitting, she sat down first and I went to sit on her lap because, well why not, also it made bruce look quite pissed. We were all sitting around a table with Thor's hammer on it when Clint spoke up twirling his drumstick, "But it's a trick", "No no it's much more than that" Thor laughed and Clint answered mocking someone saying something about who can lift the hammer has the power to rule Asgard before adding "Whatever man, it's a trick"
Nat and I were sitting there watching the whole scene in amusement. I still was sitting on her lap and she started to run her fingertips up and down my waist gently which gave me goosebumps which she noticed cause from the corner of my eye I could see her smirking.
"Oh please be my guest," Thor smiled at Clint and he stood up walking towards the hammer. "Oh this is gonna be beautiful" I heard Rhodey chuckle as Clint got ready and tried to lift Thor's hammer. Without success tho.
"Smell the silent judgment?" tony commented and Nat and I chuckled lightly at Clints attempt to try again. "Please try if you think you can" clint told him waving his hand toward him. ( i don't exactly know what they said in that scene so I changed it up a bit)
Tony stood up and dramatically opened his jacket walking over to the table, "Never one to shrink from an honest challenge" he said before trying and lifting it but also he couldn't lift it. "Be right back" he mumbled before grabbing his iron man suit glove and tried it again, still no success. Then Tony and Rhodey tried together with their suit gloves, with no success and they even started arguing like an old couple.
I tried too, but couldn't lift it, as I walked back Nat smiled at me before pulling me back into her lap. Next to try was Bruce and he couldn't lift it either, he tried and tried and let out a monstrous scream which made everyone look at him weirdly. After Bruce, Cap tried, the hammer moved a bit and Nat and I looked at each other in shock for a second, I even saw Thor's smile fade but also cap couldn't lift it. "Nothing" thor laughed relieved and Bruce motioned over to Nat. "Widow?" he asked expectantly and Nat started to shake her head "Oh no no no that's not a question I need answered" she chuckled before leaning her chin on my shoulder.
"Come on Nat, I'm sure you could lift it" I whispered to her and she looked at me unsure so I nodded to her assuring. Natasha sighed and I moved so she could stand up, she handed me her beer rolling her eyes playfully and walked over to MJölnir. As she stood in front of the hammer she looked at me and I gave her a big smile lifting my free hand to give her thumb up.
Natasha grabbed the handle and breathed in before pulling her arm up and...she succeeded. "HA I KNEW IT" I yelled as thor spit out his drink in shock and everyone's mouth hung open. Nat threw the hammer over to Thor with a smirk on her face before walking back and sitting next me. I handed her her beer back with a kiss on her cheek and she smiled adorably at me being proud that she did it.
"Okay thor you can go pack up your stuff cause my girlfriend here is going to rule Asgard now" I laughed and nat chuckled laying her hand down on my thigh as Thor was still sitting there with an open mouth.
