"Ugh... Where am I...?"  Aether quietly groaned as he started to open his eyes. He was in an unknown room, in an unknown bed. The blond yawned and started looking around the strange room. The room was quite small, but it had everything needable, a big bed the boy was currently laying in, a closet, few shelves, a table with three chairs, two windows and a small bathroom. Since he didn't recognize the place, he decided to look out of one of the windows. Aether was about to get up, but immediately felt pain in most parts of his body. Then he remembered, the reason he was in a unknown place, why everything was hurting. He had to get out of there, Paimon would propably scold him again at this point. Aether whimpered in pain as he stood up on his legs that were basically shaking.

The door suddenly opened, thankfully, the one who entered room was just Verr Godlet. "Greetings Traveler, seems that you woke up, though, I suggest resting a little bit before leaving the Inn, your wounds are still not fully healed" the lady said after seeing Aether trying his best to stand properly. "Ah, seems like this is a room in Wangshu Inn then, I never saw this one though..."  Aether thought. "Also, if you're wondering where you are, this is Xiao's room, he carried you here yesterday, you were in a horrible condition, so he decided to lay you there." she replied as if reading his mind. "Thanks alot Miss, I will also thank Xiao when I see him, but I cannot stay here for too long... Ugh..." Aether replied with a painfull expresion as he was trying to walk. "Please stay here for atleast a while... If you're worried about your companion, she's sleeping in the other room, Xiao managed to find her and explain the situlation." Verr said in a calming tone. "I still have job to do, so I'll leave you alone for now, please try to rest a bit, also, Xiao went to buy some medicine for you, he will return in a few hours" she finished her last sentence and then left the room, closing the door after her. "So it was Xiao, I'd never think he'd be so... caring, but at the same time, that's what friends do...right?" Aether thought as he started to get back to the bed. "Since Paimon isn't worried, searching for me in the wild, I have no reason to not rest." The blond decided and slowly layed down to the comfortable bed, it was a matter of seconds before he fell asleep again.

And there he was again, in the middle of the night, in a strange domain, facing his beloved sibling. Except... she said nothing this time... she started walking straight to the portal, like Aether wasn't there, like he was no one, like he wasn't important to her anymore... But this time was different, he wasn't just standing there, he ran, ha ran after her. As soon Lumine saw that, some weird force throwed Aether away from the portal, and from her... She left, again, and she will keep leaving him till it turns her brother mad...

Aether suddenly woke up, he was sweating, panting heavily from the shock of waking up. "So you woke up" a familiar voice said. It was Xiao. "You have troubles sleeping, am I correct?" He questioned. "..." The room went silent for a moment. "How did you know...? The blond asked. "When I came here you were flinching in your sleep, you also called someone's name... its your sister's isn't it?" The raven explained. 

Xiao thought a little bit before adding "I can help you get rid of those, you know...?" there was hesitation, but a sign of care in his voice. "How?" The blond asked quietly, eyes focused on the man before him. "I can... go inside your mind when you're sleeping and... destroy the nightmare" The older one said. "Okay... We can try, but only if you're comfortable" Aether responded, now smiling. "It is my duty to help the people of Liyue..." Xiao said, a little bit mesmerized by the blond's smile. "So... tommorrow evening?" He made sure, eyes still focused on the younger one. Aether nodded his head lightly. 

"I also brought the medicine..." Xiao changed the subject, he was now holding painkillers, and some other medical herbs in his hands. "Thank you... thank you so much" The younger one said, happy of the treatment. The raven showed him when and how should he take the medicine, and Aether ate some of it. "Well, since you have your medicine... I should be on my leave" The older one said. "Wait...!" Aether almost screamed when  the other man was about to teleport away. "Can you stay with me a little longer? Your presence is quite comforting..." The blond said, little embarassed.
