chapter 7 - A Second Introduction

Meliodas POV....

I walk away from Amity and Elisabeth thinking to myself 'I must be the worst big brother in the whole world. How could I not see that he was in love when I left the 10 Commandments?! No wonder he didn't come with me when I asked, he had to stay to protect her.' 

Flashback to when Meliodas betrayed the Demon Clan...

"Your what!" askes Zeldris.

" I'm leaving the demon realm and joining the side of the goddesses" Meliodas replies.

" Father won't allow it."

" I'm not asking for permission. You can come with me Zel we can fight Father together!"

" Do whatever you want but I won't betray Father." 

End of flashback....

" So, Captain how are you feeling?" Merlin askes pulling me out of my memory. " I don't know. I understand now why he couldn't go with me when I left but it hurts to know that he didn't trust me enough to tell me about her." I say with my head lowered. And then I feel it " Hes coming this way! Merlin, I need..." " Way ahead of you! PERFICT CUBE!" she shouts putting everyone but me in the pink square. 

As if on cue the roof of the tavern is smashed and through the dust, I can see my little brother. 

" Give her back! Traitor!" Zeldris yells. " You know that I can't do that." I say back in an aggravated tone. " GIVE HER BACK OR DIE!" 

Amity POV...

 You and Elisabeth are listening to Diane talk about her dream where she was really small and Hawk being really big and him trying to eat her as payback for her trying to eat him when they first met. As Elisabeth is comforting her, you look over to Meliodas who's talking with Merlin in a hushed tone. It looked like a privet conversation, so you turn your head back to the girls. Then out of the blue Merlin yells " PERFICT CUBE" and everyone except for Meliodas is thrown into a giant pink square. As you look at Merlin with a confused look she points to the ceiling, as it shatters reveling Zeldris in the cloud of dust. 

You run up to the edge of the cube and bang your fists on it, because you can hear Zeldris and Meliodas arguing and then Zeldris yelling " GIVE HER BACK OR DIE!" he charges at Meliodas, and you scream " NO DONT DO IT!" 

Zeldris stops in his track's inches his sword inches away from Meliodas's chest. He looks up at you and you see his eyes cloud over. You have a gut feeling that the two of you have met before, but you've never seen him before today. " Amy are you alright! Did my traitorous brother hurt you?" he asks in a loving tone " I'm perfectly fine. And don't call me 'Amy' I don't even know you!" you tell him defensively. He looks hurt at your words and turns his head back to Meliodas. " What happened to her? WHAT DID YOU DO?!" "I didn't do anything she has a memory potion on her that has suspended all her memory's except of the ones for the last 18 years. I don't know anything more than that." Meliodas replies in a calm tone with his hands up trying not to anger Zeldris anymore than he already is. 

Hearing this Zeldris drops his sword and fly's up to you on the outside of the perfect cube. " Is this true?" he asks you with a look of despair in his dark eyes. " Ya, it seems like that..." "Meliodas please let her out of the perfect cube I'm not going to hurt her. I promise...please just let her out." you can hear the hurt in his voice, and you look at Merlin who looks at Meliodas who give her a slight nod. A hole opens up in the bottom of the cube and you fall out, and Zeldris catches your bridal style in his arms. At the touch of him on you a feeling of warmth flows through you and you look up at him as he lowers you onto your feet. His eyes were thick with despair you wished that you could take it away, but you couldn't because you had no memories of him. At that moment you knew what you had to do. 

You didn't look away from Zeldris's eye as you tell Meliodas and the rest of the Sins what you wanted to do. " I'm going with Zeldris." "Bu-" " You can't talk me out of this I'm going." you say cutting him off. Meliodas stopes his attempt to protest and nodes his head and you look over to Elisabeth. " Elisabeth thank you for everything I am very grateful to your kindness" " Lady Amity If that's what you choose, we'll support it, but Zeldris if you ever hurt her the Sins and I will personally hunt you down. " You look at her surprised at the sudden threat but then smile because you knew it came from a place of love. 

" I'm taking her now." announces Zeldris as he summons his wings " I'm ready." you say taking a deep breath and letting it go. Zeldris jumps into the air through the hole he made in the roof of the Boar's Hat and sours through threw sky. As you look at the ground you internally make the decision to find whoever put this memory spell on you and make them pay.
