Emily woke up feeling uneasy; looking at the window she saw that it was still dark.
What had woken her up then?
Pulling the covers back she got out of bed and walked over to the window pushing the curtains aside she looked out, the front yard was lit by the porch light but everything else was dark, but she could still see the woods. It was like someone was shining a flashlight on it; clear where she was looking, but dark everywhere else..............
