I paced around the room, pulling the hood up on the hoodie and breathing heavily. I eventually managed to calm down, sitting on the bed and staring up at the ceiling in deep thought in the dark. I heard my door creak open and shut gently, foot steps walking around the bed and her crawling into it, putting her head on my shoulder.
"I'm sorry." She mumbled. You can tell she's been crying, which made me feel guilty. I put my hand on her head and sighed.
"It's alright. I'm sorry for getting mad. I know you just wanted to join but, I don't think I could live with myself if you got hurt." I said. She sat up straight out of no where, looking at me and sniffing the sleeve of the grey hoodie.
"This isn't yours." She said, squinting at me. I laughed.
"It's Ghost's." I said with a smile. "He let me borrow it because he saw that I was cold earlier." I said happily, snuggling my face into the hoodie. It smelt just like him, which was really nice.
"Awe that's cute!" She laughed. "He smell good though." She said and sniffed it again.
"I know." I giggled, smelling the sleeve once more with a smile. He smelled like laundry detergent and bonfire, which was an odd combination but surprisingly went well together. Eventually after an hour of chatting and giggling, we fell asleep.
I felt my arms being tugged tight above my head, and my knees burning from the hard concrete below me. This wasn't my bedroom, where the hell am I?
"Ahh, you're awake!" Jimmy yelled, walking into the room. I picked up my head and looked around the room. It was small and empty. I didn't recognize the place I was locked up in. I dropped my head back down, ignoring him.
"Good morning, sunshine!" He yelled louder to get my attention. This was getting old.
"Why do you keep doing this?" I asked him, clearly sick of it. He stomped over to me, his foot steps echoed through the empty room. He lifted up my chin aggressively, making me look up at him. His eyes glowing red.
"Because, if I can't kill you, I'll just have to torture you in your dreams." He whispered, slapping me across the face suddenly, my cheek stinging. I closed my eyes, waiting for the pain to go away. Why can't he just leave me alone??
He walked away, leaving the room. I sat in my thoughts, staring at the concrete floor. What was he going to do to me? Am I really going to feel all of the pain as if I was awake? I wonder if Darlene will hear me scream?
I heard his foot steps echoing down the hall he went in, but something was squeaking. He had something with him, or someone.
"I'm back, dear!" He laughed, pushing in a body in a wheel chair with a bag over their head. "I got you a surprise!" He said with a wicked smile. I gulped, hoping it isn't who I think it is. Jimmy popped his head up, as if he remembered something, looking at me and thinking hard. His red eyes made me nervous. I wanted to know what he was planning.
"Time to wake him up!" He yelled, ripping the bag off of the body's head, revealing a sleeping Ghost. He opened his eyes tiredly, until he saw me. His head snapped up.
"Jimmy, this is a new low for you. Come on now." He said, glaring up at him. Jimmy smiled, proud of himself.
"A new low??" I asked, bewildered. "He does this to you too?" I questioned, glancing between the both of them. Ghost looked at me strangely.
"Ahh, the newly wed are arguing. How beautiful." Jimmy said, batting his eyes with a soft smile.
"Wait, she's not fake??" He asked Jimmy, panic in his eyes. "You're dreaming? Like this is you you?" He asked me, his eyes bugging out of his head.
