Ghost POV

"I'm worried." I said to Toast once (Y/n) was out of sight. He flinched as I cleaned another cut on his arm, letting out a low groan.

"Why?" He asked me before gritting his teeth and leaning his head back in pain.

"I just," I hesitated. "After what happened last night, it worries me for her to be going out alone, or any of us for that matter." I admitted, thinking of all the things that could go wrong. Toast chuckled, which made me confused.

"Why are you laughing?" I asked him, squinting my eyes. He stopped and smiled fondly.

"You're so in love with her." He laughed. I felt my cheeks heat up so out of annoyance, I placed the cotton ball in alcohol and pressed it firmly on his cut, watching him grit his teeth in pain.

"You're just mad that I'm right." He said, laughing through the pain. I rolled my eyes and continued cleaning his cuts.

"Take off your shirt." I told him, ignoring what he said. He wasn't entirely wrong though. This man had cuts and gashes all the way around his body. I wasn't even sure what color his shirt used to be. As he removed his top, I snuck a sip of his whiskey he had in front of him. Once the shirt was removed, you could see just how bad it really was.

"Toast, what the hell did you get into?" I asked him, staring wide eye at his body. I scooted my chair closer to his so I can get a better look.

"A strong spirit, of course." He said. "Witchcraft gone bad at a church, perhaps." He joked. I furrowed my brows.

"Witchcraft at a church?" I asked him, clearly confused on how that would happen. He nodded.

"It was abandoned many years ago, but now people are trying to revive it. I suppose a young girl from the 80's did some rituals in it while it was no longer in use and was damaging whatever they tried to fix." He explained.

"And you went alone? Are you insane?" I scolded him. He rolled his eyes before hissed as I cleaned a cut.

"Well I thought it was going to be easy, but I was wrong. Would've called for you both but you were out shopping." He said. I almost felt bad about it because I wasn't available at his time of need. Feels like I sort of let him down.

"Well for now on, no more going by ourselves. It's either two or all three." I said to him. He agreed and went quiet. We sat in silence for a while until I finished, sending him off to his room to rest. He argued against it at first but eventually he broke and laid down on the couch with the tv on.

I didn't know what to do with myself. Both (Y/n) and Toast were napping so I was left alone, sort of. I ended up in my room, pacing back and forth with Jimmy saying brutal things and ideas in my head.

"Stop." I said sternly to Jimmy, running my hands through my hair very aggressively. I was starting to hyperventilate. I needed help from someone but I didn't want to wake up them so I dealt with it myself.

"Fuck." I mumbled, dumping into the furniture around the room, getting more and more dizzy. His voice was getting louder the more he spoke; I couldn't hear my own thoughts.

"Ghost?" I heard (y/n) say tiredly. I swung around so fast, I ended up falling and hitting my head on my dresser. (Y/n) gasped and ran to my side, but I was already unconscious and Jimmy was free.

Your POV

"Oh shit." I mumbled, bending down and lifting up Ghosts head to see if there was a crack in his skull or any blood. I didn't see anything except for his hair slowly shifting to black, staring from the roots, which freaked me out a bit but I tried my best not to panic.
