        BASEMENT.                 ( VANCE'S POV)

I fluttered my eyes open my throat felt dry I looked around the room which looked so dirty...

I turned to my side to see Cynthia right next to me she had a bloody ear I then saw the door opening which had an ugly ass man with a mask

" you're awake," the man said looking at me and then looking at Cynthia "I'll let go if you behave," he said touching Cynthia's hair and then putting his dry ass hand on my face

I caught his hands just in time " don't touch me" I hissed he then glared at me " I'll get you some eggs for you and that girl " he said glancing at me as he locked the door

I then turned to Cynthia and shook her body trying to get her to wake up " Cynthia" I said as she finally woke up

" hmm?" she said opening her eyes slowly she then panicked as she looked around " where are we?" She said I could hear the panic in her voice

"calm down Cynthia," I said trying to calm her down she then took a breath and started calming down we then heard the door open again

"I see the girl has awakened," he said with a tray of food, he then placed the food down as he looked at us I just looked at him with a glare

He came closer to us it was so quiet until Cynthia broke it " get the fuck away" she said as the man took another step

"I was going to let you go," he said having a newspaper in his hands " looks like your family is miserable  Cynthia," he said as Cynthia sat up and looked at him scared

He then threw the newspaper the ground which had a picture of Cynthia's family on it, Cynthia looked at the picture it seem she was only looking at her sister

"I guess your name is Vance," he said looking at me I stared at him with disgust " shut the fuck up, man," I said trying not to break a fight with him 

" hmm?" He said, "I told you to shut the fuck up!" I said letting my anger out " naughty boy..." he said going straight for the door and locking it

I then stood up and tried to find some useful stuff to get out and saw a fucking phone? Why the fuck is a phone here the fucking dumb ass hag placed it here.

I placed my fingers in the phone and started to put it on my ear and started calling the police but there was nothing I looked confused and then looked to see it was broken

I sighed and hang up on the phone and sat down and started eating the eggs and saved some for Cynthia speaking of Cynthia I'd never heard from her I turned around to see her with her face on her legs and chest 

" cyn" Ii said " yeah?" She said her soft voice sounding like she wanted to cry "eat" I said as I took a drink of the sprite

I slid down the plate to her as she uncovered her face from her chest and started eating slowly " do you think we're gonna escape?" She said as she took a drink out of it not caring if I already drank it

" Maybe," I said looking at her " want gum?" She said " where would you get the fucking gum," I said

" From here," she said as she went under her shirt and grabbed some "bras are really useful," she said as she popped the gum in her mouth I just looked at her weirdly "still want one," she said trying to break the awkwardness " yeah," I said not wanting to be hungry she tossed it to me as I caught it

" uh, Vance what did you want to tell me?" She said chewing her gum " nothing" I said not wanting to tell her the truth

I then stood up and tried to find a great escape plan and saw a small ass window that would be pretty good to pull " hey can!" I said trying to get her attention

" yeah?" She said standing up " help me," I said " I'm not gonna pick you up," she said assuming " no I will," I said trying to get her to jump on my hands "get the bars," I said

" k," she said opening it with all her strength and finally opened it but she fell backward as soon as she was gonna fall I caught her on time

" thanks", she said I then nodded and looked flustered

                                            | RORY'S POV|

" Aurora !" My mother said "yeah?!" I said screaming in my room "get the phone " she said I then ran to get the phone ringing

" Hi Aurora "I could hear Cynthia's mother say " yeah?" I said " is Cynthia staying over tonight? " she said " no way, "I said confused
" where have you last seen her?" She said panicked in her voice " she was walking to her house you didn't see her?" I said trying not to second think

As I started to listen to the panic in her voice I then realized what she was talking about I then hanged up and ran to the police

" hi," the man said sitting down at his desk "I need to report someone missing, "I said trying not to shed a tear

" yeah what's the name, " the man said writing down some stuff " Cynthia costa, " I said " she has a brunette and brown eyes," I said finally shedding a tear " okay, "he said, " where did you last see her?" He said " walking home," I said " wait right this moment

I nodded as I sat down in a chair sobbing in my arm thinking about her my sister, my best friend thinking about her just made me cry more
