A knock woke Amelia up from her sleep, she slowly sat up and rubbed the sleep from her eyes. Standing at the door was Grace smiling, "Good Morning Amelia, it's time to wake up." she said. "What time is it?" she asked, pushing the covers off." It's 6 am. "Grace said with a smile while walking over to the closet. Amelia who was now sitting up groaned a bit, "Ugh, why must I wake up so early? she asked to, while smoothing down her bed hair. Grace let out a small chuckle, "Your Father likes to get things started early." Amelia's eyebrows furrowed slightly, "I wouldn't call Mr. Hargreeves my father at the moment. I only just met the man yesterday." she said looking down at her hands. Grace looked at her with a sad smile," I know it's difficult right now, but give it some time. He cares about all of you." she said, offering a small smile to Amelia. Amelia gave Grace a tight smile "Perhaps... but anyway, I believe it's time to get ready for the day." said Amelia. Grace handed her uniform, "When you finish getting dressed head down to the kitchen for breakfast." said Grace smiling and left Amelia's room.

After changing into her uniform she made her way down towards the kitchen. After being lost for what seemed forever she was able to locate the kitchen. Entering she saw the other kids eating their breakfast. Everyone except Five looked up." Morning Everyone." she said, they all smiled and waved at her. Amelia made her way over to the table and saw that there was an empty spot next to Five. Amelia took this as an opportunity to get to know him a bit. She sat down and slightly looked towards Five, "Morning Five." she said. Five still didn't look up at her, but only hummed in response.

Amelia slightly pursed her lips together, then straightened up and looked back at her breakfast and began eating. After breakfast all the children filed out the kitchen and headed to a rather large study room. There were bookshelves on one side of the room, and a large window on the opposite side from the entrance door. They all gathered around a long table that sat in the middle of the room. They all took their seats and waited for instructions. Pogo came into the room carrying several books in hand, he went around the table and placed one in front of everyone. Amelia stared down at her copy, "The Odyssey?" she said. What made it all the more confusing was that the book was written in a whole different language.

The doors to the room opened, everyone looked

up to see Reginald Hargreeves walking in. He goes to the head of the table and opens the same exact book. "Children open your books to the first page." they all did as told, and began a long literature of Homer.

First POV

It was around 10:30 in the morning when we were walking out of the study room. I stretched my arms and yawned a bit. "That was the dullest and most difficult lesson in my life," said Amelia. Allison chuckled a bit, "Yeah, a lot of the lessons are going to be like that, but you'll get used to it." she said. I smiled at her, "I surely hope so, but anyway what are we doing now?" I asked. "Now we're going to train with our powers and in combat," said Diego. "Oh okay, nice. At least this time we'll be moving around and not be reading a very dull book." I said. We all arrived in what looked like a fairly large training room. Reginald and Pogo were on one side of the room, "Please line up children." said Pogo. Everyone did as told and lined up shoulder to shoulder, "Today we will be focusing more on hand-to-hand combat, you will be paired up with a partner, and practicing defending an attack." explained Pogo.

"Allison with Ben, Luther with Diego, Klaus and Vanya, and Five with Amelia," said Reginald. When he announced who's with whom I was actually glad to be paired with Five, this will give me a chance to speak to him. I looked over to Five to see him having the same expression as always. We all split up with our partners and picked a spot in the room. We all took off our blazers to move around better. I looked up at Five to see him looking to the side. I was going to say something to him, but before I could, Reginald started giving us instructions. We were so busy training that I couldn't get a word out to Five. We trained together no problem, but he just kept a neutral face the whole time. We came to the end of our session and started filing out the door. We were told to head to our rooms until lunch was ready.

I was currently in my room trying to read a book, but couldn't really concentrate. I wondered what I did wrong to upset Five, or is he just angry with me? I couldn't tell for sure, but it was bothering me. I need to have a clear head for the rest of the day, which means putting this little problem aside.

After lunch I had a one on one with Sir Reginald to help me improve my powers, and possibly unlock other abilities. So far the only things I can do is turn invisible and use telekinesis, although I'm not very strong at the other one. With some practice, I can hopefully get stronger and discover what else I can do. By the end of the day, I was rather sore, my body was sure to ache tomorrow. I was currently getting ready for bed, I was sitting in front of my mirror brushing my hair and then putting it into a braid. Placing my brush down, I heard a knock come from my door, I stood up and walked over and opened it slowly. To my surprise, standing at my door was Five, who was holding a blazer in his arms. "Um, good evening Five, did.....did you need something?" I asked softly. He sighed and held out the blazer, "Yeah, you took my jacket. This one's yours." he said. "Oh! I'm terribly sorry Five. I should've paid better attention, let me go ahead and grab yours." I rushed to my closet and looked through my clothes, and sure enough there was a blazer that was a bit larger than the other ones. I grabbed it and plucked it off the hanger. I still can't believe I didn't notice the difference when I picked it up.

I turned around top head back to the door, but in doing so I bumped into something, or more specifically someone. I slowly looked up to see Five looking down at me with a brow raised. I stumbled back and apologized profusely, "I am so sorry. I should've watched where I was going. Anyway, here's your blazer, sorry again for taking it, and thank you for returning mine." I said rather quickly. Five grabbed his blazer, then looked at me. "You talk a lot," he said. I looked down embarrassed, mumbling sorry to him. "And you apologize a lot." This made me even more embarrassed, so I just stayed silent, while fidgeting with my hands. Five sighed, "Listen, you took my jacket by mistake. I'm not going to hold it against you. Just look before you take anything, so it doesn't happen again." he said, while I nodded. He turned to walk away, but I needed to ask him a question. "Five?", he stopped and turned to me, "Did I..... did I upset you in any way before? It's that, when I tried to talk to you this morning, you ignored me. It's just... I don't want us to be on bad terms, since we'll be living under the same roof." I said slowly looking up to him.

Five closed his eyes and ran a hand down his face. "No. You didn't upset me, nor do I hate you. I'm just not..." he sighs a bit frustrated, " I'm not the best at interacting with others, never have. I'm always the quiet and serious one, it's what the others say at least." he said with a bit of sadness laced in his voice. "Oh, well I'm glad that you aren't upset with me or hate me." I said with a small smile. He gave me a tight smile, his eyes then caught something behind me, "You like to read about Quantum Physics?" he asked. I looked towards my bed and saw the book laying there. "Oh yeah, I find it quite interesting." she said smiling. "Did you want to look at it?" she asked Five. He hesitated for a bit but nodded his head yes. I walked over to my bed, picked it up and handed it over to Five. He looked at the cover, and then started flipping through a few pages. "You can borrow it if you'd like." I told him. He looked towards me then at the book, "If it's okay with you." he said. I simply smiled at him and pushed the book towards him. "It's fine by me, as long as you don't return it in shreds." I said with a slight chuckle. He gave me a small smile and thanked me, saying goodnight to each other. I watched him walk down towards his room, before entering he gave me a small wave and I waved in return. I slowly and quietly closed my door, turned out the lights and climbed in my bed, staring up at the ceiling and thinking how graceful she is to be here.
