"Come on shoyu, the kitchens over here!!" I could hear yuko yell gesturing his hand to the kitchen while towa skipped in. oh how beautiful it was. The amount of lights there were uncountable, the tables a shiny black and the cupboards and drawers laced with gold all locked in with a scent of freshly baked cookies. I slowly walked in to see someone who I assumed was their mother, her back faced towards us.
"That smells amazing mom" towa said smiling.
She turned around startled and then looked at Towa and let out a smile of relief
"U scared me honey" She said, while she turned to yuko smiling. And then, to me..
Her smile dropped so suddenly as I stood there confused and by the looks of towa and yukos faces, they were too.
"Are you okay mom?.." yuko asked concerned
She shook her head and forced a smile.
"I'm fine honey I just need to go to my room for a bit, can u bake the second stash of cookies while I'm gone?"
"S-sure mom" he said still weirded out.
She swiftly left the room while yuko acted like nothing happened and proceeded to the oven.
"Come on yuko, I'll show u how to use the oven" he said with a smile.
I walked towards him as he put in the cookies.
"SHATTER!!!"
It was the top window. It broke?
"Mom is that you?!" Yuko said startled.
No response.
He ran upstairs as me and Towa followed. What the hell was going on?
We finally reached the top and stood infront of their mom. She was on the floor with her eyes closed. My blood ran cold. Was it a robber? A serial killer? A stalker? My mind raced with thoughts as yuko fell to the ground and held his mother.
"MOM ARE YOU OKAY??!!" He yelled while holding her chest and listened.
"I can hear her heartbeat, she's alive. WHO DID THIS???!!"
Our question was soon answered when we looked behind us.
Before me was... the man from that night. Standing infront of me. His face was covered, in that same uniform. I looked at him so--so confused until Yuko and Towa dropped to the ground.
He glanced at me before everything went black.
