chapter 1: yukos pov at the academy

It's finally time to get back to this school huh? Back to having to revise harder than last year, oh well. "I just need to make most of the last two yrs of this academy" were the words sitting still in my head while I walked through the gates, maybe I'd make new friends? i tried to forget the dream I had last night and walk into this building with a positive mindset. It was almost impossible however, who was that man trying to say something to me ?? Who were those people? The questions flooded my mind
"RINGG!!!"
The school bells echoed across the place.

"Yuko, come onnn." My sister told me slurring her words, Towa. She was also part of my adoptive family and was the same age as me. Almost everyone in school wanted to date her and I wouldn't be surprised if everyone flocks around her when she enters class today.

The doors opened and I walked through the door with a smile, "this is a new Yr, let's start it off fresh" Towa said reassuring me with a sincere look on her face. My smile twisted.
"Stop that Towaaa ur making me cringeee" I yelled while overdramatically pressing my hands against my face but she was right. I didn't need to worry.

I walked up the huge stairs, class 4A, i saw it from the corner of my eye, a sigh escaped through my mouth and I  knocked on the door while towa went to the bathroom,
"Good morning people, how are you all doing" I said with a cheesy smile.
"......"
Silence from the whole class. "Tough crowd huh" I slightly chuckled and went to the back of the class.
"What an entrance" I murmured while covering my flustered cheeks. That dream I had gave me little sleep, my eyes felt heavy soon after the teacher started talking until they finally closed shut.

"Thud"
I woke up to the feeling of a cold presence and looked up to see a boy with headphones on the sides of his neck sitting beside me and girls staring at him. "Huh who's this" I muttered to myself. I sat up still dizzy and managed to focus on the boy, he had green eyes, brown luscious hair and thin glasses.
"My names yuko what about you" I said happily
Could I be making a friend???
He didn't answer, he sat there emotionless. I looked at the board to see his name, shoyu. I asked him question after question until I decided to stop since I was getting no answers, why was everyone so depressed today
Just then the door opened to reveal towa all dolled up, so that's why she went to the bathroom huh?
Suddenly everyone stood up to greet her while I stood there shocked.
"Are u kidding me" I groaned,
"You guys didn't even say a word to me..!" I yelled in annoyance.
Just then I saw towas eyes land on shoyu, who was the only one besides me still sitting down. She walked up to us and sat to the right of shoyu, the tables separated.
Ugh, I knew what she was trying to do and it was annoying.
"Go away Towaaa" I groaned annoyed while she just looked at him then turned around.
For the whole lesson shoyu didn't talk, hmm I guess he had a bad day today?

The bell rang for break and I hurriedly got up from my table to see the boy who sat next to me gone, so was towa. I needed to be friends with him, that way I'd have made a friend and completed my goal but it was hard because all the girls wanted to be near him. This year was going a rollerocaster huh?
