As the school day neared its end, Izumi found himself with a sense of emptiness awaiting him at home. "Class is almost over... It's not like I have anything to do when I get home," he thought to himself.

As the final bell rang, Izumi gathered his belongings and prepared to leave. Just as he was about to exit the classroom, Kikuchi approached him. "Hi, Izumi," she greeted with a warm smile.

"Bye-bye," Izumi Kikuchi said

Izumi awkwardly says "bye"

Jayce also bid their farewells. "Yo, see you later, Izumi," Jayce said, a friendly tone in his voice. "Bye, Kikuchi."

"Bye, Jayce," Kikuchi replied with a wave.

As the classroom emptied, Izumi contemplated his plans. "I'm going to stop by the music room to play the piano," he thought to himself.

However, as he made his way to the music room, he was intercepted by an unwelcome presence. "Hi, what are you doing, freak?" a familiar voice sneered.

The tension in the air grew thick, and it was clear that a confrontation was imminent. But before it escalated further, a voice intervened. "Okay, Izumi, you've messed up now," Jayce's voice resonated.

Suddenly, another voice chimed in. "Hey, dude, leave him alone," Jayce asserted, standing up for his friend.

Jayce turned to Aiza, with a anger expression on his face. "Yo, Aiza, you should leave
let's go," he suggested. "Yeah, let's leave," Aiza agreed. The encounter with their tormentors left a lingering question in Izumi's mind. "Why do they hate you so much?" Jayce asked, genuine concern in his voice.

Izumi sighed, a mix of frustration and confusion in his expression. "I don't know," he replied, unable to comprehend the animosity directed towards him.

With a somber nod, Jayce bid his farewell. "I'm gonna go now. Bye, Izumi," he said, his voice filled with a mix of determination and support.

"Bye," Izumi replied, "I guess I'll play piano. Kikuchi walked past at the door, her curiosity piqued by the beautiful piano melodies resonating from within.

Kikuchi stabs inside, Kikuchi finds Izumi sitting at the piano, lost in his own world of music. "Hi, Izumi," she greeted, a hint of surprise in her voice.

Izumi replied. Awkward. "Oh hey"

"I have a question. Do you know when the festival is happening?" she inquired, her voice filled with anticipation.

"No, but the teacher should announce it soon," Izumi replied, his eyes gazing at the piano keys in front of him.

Their exchange was interrupted by the arrival of Jayce "Hi, what are you doing at school?" Jayce asked, genuine curiosity in his voice.

The new arrival chimed in, "Well, I had to talk to the principal because I am new." It was evident that this encounter was not mere coincidence but a testament to the growing interconnectedness among them.

Izumi turned his attention back to Jayce, explaining, "I always play the piano after school. I don't have a piano at my apartment, so I play here."

Intrigued by his passion, Kikuchi asked, "Do you have a piano at your house?"

Izumi's response was tinged with a touch of sadness. "No, not yet, anyway," he admitted.

Unfazed by his circumstances, Kikuchi smiled warmly. "Do you mind if I watch?" she asked.

"No, it's okay," Izumi replied, his voice softening. As Kikuchi took a seat nearby, they shared a comfortable silence, their souls connecting through the language of music.

Time seemed to stand still as the piano keys danced beneath Izumi's skillful fingers, their melodies filling the room. The enchanting music captivated Kikuchi, who found herself lost in the emotions woven into every note.

"How long have you been playing the piano?" Kikuchi asked, her voice filled with genuine curiosity.

"Since I was eight," Izumi replied, a nostalgic smile gracing his face. "And you?"

Kikuchi's answer mirrored his own. "Same, actually. That's kind of funny," she remarked, a sense of connection strengthening their bond.

With a hint of reluctance, Kikuchi stood up. "Well, I'm gonna go. Bye-bye, Izumi," she said, offering a small wave.

"Bye, Kikuchi," Izumi replied.

As Kikuchi made her way out of the music room, the echoes of their shared melodies lingered in her steps.
