As Izumi is playing piano he realizes. "It's late; I should go home," he thought to himself, realizing that he had spent all day playing piano.
As Izumi stepped out of the school, he took a moment to glance at the empty hallway, his thoughts drifting like the fading echoes of the day's activities. He pondered how he could have lost track of time so easily, a common occurrence when he immersed himself in his thoughts.
Walking through the school's exit, he found himself on the sidewalk, the world outside bustling with life. His mind was still processing the events of the day, and he absentmindedly made his way towards the street.
Suddenly, the blaring sound of a speeding car jerked him out of his reverie. His heart raced as he instinctively froze, a fearful expression washing over his features. The car whizzed by in a blur, leaving Izumi standing there, shaken and trembling.
An old lady nearby noticed his distress and approached him with concern. "Are you okay?" she asked, her voice laced with worry.
Izumi's gaze shifted to the old lady, his breaths shallow and uneven. "I'm... I'm okay," he stammered, his voice quivering.
The old lady studied him for a moment, her eyes filled with empathy. "You don't look okay, young man," she remarked gently.
"No, really, I'm fine," Izumi insisted, attempting to regain his composure. He forced a shaky smile, though his eyes betrayed his lingering unease.
The old lady didn't seem entirely convinced, but she respected his response. "Well, if you're sure. Just be careful, okay?" she advised before continuing on her way.
As she disappeared into the distance, Izumi was left alone with his thoughts. He replayed the close encounter with the speeding car in his mind, the image etched vividly in his memory. "I hate cars," he muttered to himself, his voice tinged with a mixture of fear and frustration.
Shaking his head, he turned away from the street and started walking back towards his home. The events of the day had taken an unexpected turn, and he needed a moment to collect himself.
With each step, he felt the tension in his body gradually easing. "Are you sure you're okay?" he whispered to himself, attempting to reassure his rattled nerves.
Finally, he reached the familiar surroundings of his home. Opening the door, he was greeted by the familiar presence of Ollie, his loyal companion. The sight of his furry friend provided a sense of comfort, and he knelt down to pet him gently. "Hey, boy," he murmured, his voice soft and soothing. "I'm home."
But upon arriving, Izumi realized that his food supplies were running low. "All out of milk and food, I have to go to the store," he muttered, mentally calculating if he had enough money for groceries.
Despite his concerns, he knew he had to make the trip. "I have school tomorrow; but I have to get food soo. Bye, Ollie," he said, leaving his furry friend.
As he walked to the convenience store. He made a mental shopping list, determined to get all the essentials. "I need milk, eggs, rice, meat, and bread," he recited, hoping he had enough money to cover the expenses.
At the store, Izumi greeted the friendly cashier and began to collect the items on his list. Once at the checkout, he sighed with relief, realizing he had enough money for his groceries.
"Now it's time to go home."I haven't eaten all day, he thought, well, I can make a simple dinner of eggs and rice.
As Izumi is cooking dinner he looks at the time "it's late but I have to eat. As Izumi is done cooking, Izumi eats and goes to his room.
Izumi prepared for bed, ready to face the new day ahead. "Good night, Ollie," he whispered before drifting off to sleep.
The next morning, the sound of his alarm brought Izumi back to reality. "Ring, ring, ring... oh, I have to go to school," he mumbled, getting ready for the day ahead.
Before leaving, he took a moment to pack his lunch, ensuring he had enough energy to get through the school day. "Bye, Ollie," he said, giving his furry friend a quick pat.
Arriving at school early, Izumi settled into his seat, he heard a familiar voice "So what did you do when I left yesterday?" she had asked.
"Nothing, really," he said nervously, not wanting to reveal the solitude he felt.
But Kikuchi's teasing had lightened the mood, and the arrival of Jayce had brought even more banter to the table. The topic of Izumi's piano-playing skills came up, and he felt slightly embarrassed by the attention.
"Izumi, why don't you tell people you are really good?" Jayce had prodded.
"It's not like that. I would tell you if I did something," Izumi had retorted, not wanting to boast about his talents.
The classroom buzzed with anticipation as the teacher's voice filled the air. "OK class, let's get started," she announced, commanding the attention of every student.
Izumi sat up a little straighter, his curiosity piqued. The upcoming school festival was a topic that had been on everyone's mind, and he was eager to hear the plans.
"First things first," the teacher continued, "the festival is starting in two weeks, so figure out what you want to do for the class."
The room filled with an excited hum as students exchanged glances and whispers. The festival was a cherished tradition, a time for creativity, camaraderie, and fun. Ideas began to flow, and Izumi's mind raced with possibilities.
"Costume party?" someone suggested from across the room.
"Café?" another voice chimed in.
A chorus of suggestions followed, ranging from a haunted house to fortune-telling booths.
What about a "Dress-up café?"
Everyone Nods and murmurs of agreement filled the room, and it seemed that the class had found a common ground. "Nothing inappropriate if we're going to do a dress-up café for the class, okay?"
The teacher nodded in approval. "Very well. So, let's get started. Go buy all the supplies tomorrow," she instructed, her voice carrying the weight of responsibility and excitement...
