The classroom hummed with the promise of the upcoming festival, but as the teacher's voice rang out, reality set in - the festival may be near, but schoolwork didn't pause. "Just because the festival is happening in two weeks does not mean you are not gonna do any schoolwork; you will get homework. But today, you all are gonna do work. OK, let's begin class."
Izumi felt a heavy weariness settle over him. He yearned for his bed, a quiet refuge from the constant demands of school and life. "I just wanna go to bed," he thought, his eyes drooping as he struggled to focus.
"At least I don't have to do school work for the next two weeks," he mused, the thought offering a small solace. "I'm tired..." his mind trailed off, fatigue tugging at every thought.
The teacher's admonishment drew Izumi back from the brink of sleep. "Izumi, wake up! No sleeping in class."
Startled, Izumi jerked upright. "Sorry, sorry," he stammered, his voice heavy with guilt.
"Don't go back to sleep again, ok?" the teacher warned.
"Yes, ma'am," Izumi replied, forcing himself to stay alert. "OK, let's continue."
As the lesson progressed, Izumi's condition seemed to worsen. Kikuchi's concerned voice reached his ears. "Izumi, are you feeling ok? You look like you're feeling bad."
"I'm ok, don't worry, Kikuchi," he reassured, though his voice lacked its usual steadiness.
Kikuchi's worry persisted. "If you say so."
After class, the day moved forward with its usual rhythm. Athletics class was on the horizon, a prospect Izumi wasn't looking forward to. "Hi, Kikuchi, do we have Athletics today?" he asked, trying to shake off his fatigue.
"Yes, we do. How did you forget, normally don't you Izumi?" Kikuchi responded, her tone a mixture of concern and curiosity.
"Do you need to go to the nurse's office?" she pressed, noticing his unusually pale complexion.
"No, I'm ok, really," Izumi insisted, a faint smile on his lips. "Trust me, Kikuchi, I should be ok."
As they headed to the gym for athletics, Kikuchi continued to keep a watchful eye on him. "Izumi, tell me if you're not feeling ok. You don't look too good today, so I'm kind of worried."
But Izumi brushed off her concern, determined not to let his weariness get the best of him. "I should be fine," he repeated, the words becoming a mantra.
As the day progressed, Izumi found himself surrounded by his friends - Kikuchi, Jayce, and the others. Their excitement for the festival was infectious.
"Hi, Jayce. Are you excited?" She asked, genuinely curious about her friend's thoughts.
"It seems fun, but first we have to convince L
Izumi that it will be fun," Jayce replied, his words drawing a chuckle from Izumi."By the end of the festival, you'll have the most fun in your life, Izumi," Kikuchi added, her smile reassuring.
"Yeah, good thinking," Kikuchi agreed, a hint of a smile tugging at her lips.
The group made their way to the gym, ready for a sports class that Izumi wasn't particularly fond of. But he was determined to make the best of it.
"Because the festival is coming up, you guys are going to do something fun," the gym teacher announced, eliciting cheers from the students. "Play soccer/football, so we're going to go outside. Obviously, not everyone has to play."
As the game commenced, Izumi hesitated. "Not really big into sports, Jayce," he confessed.
"Come on, it will be fun, just one game," Jayce urged, a playful grin on his face.
"Ok, just one game," Izumi relented, his apprehension mixed with a touch of curiosity.
As the game progressed, Izumi found himself swept up in the excitement. He kicked the ball, felt the adrenaline surge, and even managed to score a goal. The cheers of his friends echoed in his ears, boosting his confidence.
"Izumi, you hit it in, nice! I knew you could do it," Kikuchi's words filled him with a sense of accomplishment.
And as the game continued, Izumi was about to score. But then, just as the game was in full swing, Izumi's world tilted, and darkness encroached at the edges of his vision. "I don't feel good," he whispered, his voice barely audible over the excitement.
Kikuchi said in a worried and sad tone "No IZUMIII!"
Jayce's concerned voice rang out, full of urgency. "Izumi! Izumi!"
And then, everything went black.
Sorry it took me a while to release this part. I have had a lot of things happen recently so I can't make this. And hope you like it
