A month passed since the Smiths' activity with Mr. Nimbus, and Marin attended. It was a typical morning for Marin, waking up at 7:30 pm like every work morning.

Marin got up and went to the bathroom first to start her routine. She turned on her shower to get warm while sitting on the toilet. Marin yawned and felt nauseated. She picked up her nearby trash can and began puking.

After a few more minutes, Marin cleaned her face and turned off the shower. She was flushed.

"Maybe I should call out," Marin said to herself.

Marin picked up the phone and dialed her boss.

"Hey, Mare, what's up?" Her boss said.

"Hey, Olivia, I can't come in today. I feel sick to my stomach. I think I got the stomach flu," Marin said.

"Don't worry, sweetheart, get some rest, and I will see you another day," her boss said.

"Bye," they said in unison and hung up.

Marin looked at her calendar and noticed something was wrong. She was a week late.

"Oh shit," Marin said.

Meanwhile, Mr. Nimbus was in his hall of jewels. He was going through gems with his secretary and a few servants.

"What about a classic pearl, your majesty? She is one friendly with the sea," his assistant said.

"She is more valuable than any ordinary pearl," Nimbus said, "she shines brighter than any gemstone I see. She is a star of the sea in my eyes."

"How about a diamond for your star and the color of her biggest interest besides you," another servant, who was a male and pregnant seahorse, said, showing off an aqua blue diamond.

"Perfect! How can I reward you, servant," Mr. Nimbus clapped happily.

"Can I have a raise? I'm expecting child number 37," the seahorse servant said.

"I will fulfill your desire," Mr. Nimbus said.

Later, Marin was at the store. She had grabbed some ginger ale and a pregnancy test from the store.

"That's an interesting buy."

Marin froze in place, hearing Rick's voice from behind her.

"Leave me alone. Please," Marin said shakily.

"Who is the dad?" Rick asked.

"I don't know if I am pregnant," Marin played with her sleeve.

Suddenly, Rick held her waist from behind and spoke, "If it's me, I will seek to it that I take care of you and the baby like a husband. I will see you."

Rick left shortly after, and so did she.

Marin walked into her apartment and went straight to the bathroom to do the pregnancy test.

After the longest 15 minutes of her life, Marin checked the stick into the bathroom. Two pink lines in a plus sign position were visible as day. She grew paler as her first thought was: who is the father?

Marin paced her apartment until she finally had an idea. She picked up the phone and called Beth; she was ready to confess some things.

"Good morning, Marin," Beth said with a cheerful tone.

"H-hey, Beth. Can you please come over? I need some help," Marin said, "I don't want to say it over the phone."

In fifteen minutes, Beth arrived at her house.
