Chapter 8: The Ocean is Shark Bait

Three months later...

The happy couple planned everything out. Tonight was the bachelor party and the bachelorette party.

Beth was the one throwing the bachelorette party for Marin. She was finishing up some appetizers when Summer walked through the kitchen.

"You going to join in the bachelorette party, Summer?" Beth asked.

"No thanks, mom. I'm going to the beach and trying on outfits for the wedding and taking pictures," Summer said.

"Okay, sweetie," Beth said.

Summer walked outside, and Rick was waiting for her.

"You know the plan, right?" Rick asked.

"Yeah, find his power source to get justice for Marin," Summer said.

"And where do you find it?" He asked.

"In his second deepest trench," Summer said.

"Tonga, to be specific," Rick said.

Summer put on her diving gear and went to the ocean.

"Now, for the bachelor party," Rick got into his space car.

The bachelor party was on Squanchy's planet. The men there already were Nimbus, Squanchy, and Birdperson. Rick arrived with Jerry and Morty, and Nimbus was the first to notice. He showed disdain for Rick.

"Let's parttttayyyy!" Rick shouted cheerfully.

"What is HE doing here?" Nimbus asked, glaring at Rick.

"I invited him to bring peace among old alliances," Birdperson said.

"Aren't we friends sometimes when we aren't at each other's throats?" Rick said, walking closer to Nimbus, "besides, I brought another one of your friends and a designated driver."

"If you cause us trouble, I will end you," Mr. Nimbus said while glaring, "thank you for bringing Jerry."

"I don't know why I didn't get an invite already," Jerry said awkwardly.

"You can blame Squanchy," Bird Person said.

"Squanchy didn't squanch him an invite because Jerry would squanch up the entire party!" Squanchy said.

"I think he would be great at a party," Nimbus said.

"Don't worry; I won't Maleficent up the place," Rick said, "I did get an invite."

Meanwhile, Marin was celebrating at her Bachelorette party. It consisted of Marin, Beth, Penny, and her boss Olivia.

"Why no booze, Beth?" Penny asked.

"Because the bride-to-be is pregnant, and it would be disrespectful of us to drink around her," Beth said.

"You never say no to booze, Beth, and that's okay," Marin said, "what's the real reason? I haven't seen you touch a drop in a couple of months?"

"N-no reason," Beth said nervously.

Olivia covered her mouth to keep from laughing.

"You're pregnant, aren't you??" Marin said excitedly.

"Shhhh! I haven't told Jerry or the rest of the family yet," Beth said.

"We won't tell, I promise," Marin said.

"This is great!" Olivia said, "because I am pregnant too!"

"You three are pregnant, and I want booze," Penny pouted.

"You'll be next," the three pregnant women poked Penny's cheeks.

"Ack! Never!" Penny freaked out, causing the girls to laugh.
