The next morning Jungkook woke up when his doorbell kept ringing. He goes to answer it and Jimin walks in excitedly past him. He is carrying boxes of food and is extremely cheerful.

"Good morning sweetheart. I hope I didn't wake you. I just woke up this morning determined to get everything ready for our wedding. I can't believe it is almost here. Aren't you excited? Once we're married, we won't ever have to leave each other's side anymore."

He continues talking as he walks towards the kitchen and unpacks everything. Jungkook walks slowly behind him, trying to absorb everything he's saying. But he's speaking so fast and he is not fully awake yet.

When Jimin realizes that he's not paying attention, he tells him, "Why don't you go take a shower and get dressed. I will have everything ready for you when you get back."

"Ok.." Jungkook replies and turns around.

Once he was gone, Jimin took a deep breath to try to calm his nerves. No matter what he does, he keeps picturing the kiss he shared with Yoongi the night before. And the guilt is overwhelming him.

He sits down on the chair after setting the table. He looks through his phone and sees at all the plans he has for the day. He's glad that those will keep him distracted from Yoongi.

As he sets his phone down, he gets flashes of how he met Yoongi and how he became a big part of his life.

Flashback (2 years ago)

Jimin has been depressed and kept himself locked in his room for days now since Jungkook left town. His father is worried about him but doesn't know what to do. He is not doing too well himself. After his wife left them just a couple of years before, he honestly thought that she would return to them. After all he thought they were very much in love.

But now that Jimin's longtime boyfriend left town to do an internship in Seoul. He's just as closed off as when his mother first left them.

Jimin was laying in bed feeling sorry for himself. He didn't understand why his boyfriend had to go so far away to do his internship. He could have worked from the town nearby and they could have continued their relationship without any bumps in the road.

He finally decided that he would not be the frail heartbroken sap he's been acting like. He will do something productive with his life until his boyfriend returns.

When his father sees him coming out of his room looking alot better. He was so happy and encouraged him to do whatever he wanted.

He went out that day and joined the rest of the living. He was asked to show the new town commissioner around. He expected to see an uppity, old fart who would make demands for this or that. But was very surprised to see someone alot younger closer in age to him.

When first introduced, he felt in instant spark when they shook hands. He had never felt it before but pushed it out of his mind.

"I understand you have bought some land here already. Does that mean you plan on staying here for a while?" Jimin asked.

"I do. In fact I am liking it here very much. I have already settled into the house I'll be living in. And I just rented out one of my properties. Perhaps you know him. His name is Kim Taehyung."

Jimin smiles and says, "Oh yes, everyone here knows Tae. We grew up together. But we have drifted apart the past few years."

"Oh, that's a shame. He seems like a good guy."

"He is.. he's very loyal and you'd be very lucky to have him on your side if you ever need it. But I guess we just went our separate ways because I was always with my boyfriend and he was being a big .. you know." He laughs.
