Bonnie felt his vision return. The lights were dimmed and he was back in his greenroom layed out on his sofa. He had a pillow under his head and felt a heavy weight on his middle. He looked down to see Freddy on his knees. He was facing him and his head and arms were resting on Bonnie's middle. He was in rest mode but had visible dried oil running down his eyes.

Of course sweet, precious Freddy had taken care of him and waited for him to wake up. Stars, he loved this bear so much. He shifted which caused Freddy to stir awake. He wiped his eyes off before adjusting his vision to Bonnie. When he finally processed Bonnie was awake he teared up in joy.

"Starshine-! Oh, thank goodness!" He cried. He lunged forward and cupped Bonnie's cheeks in his hands. He planted kisses all over the bunny's face whislt crying in relief.

"When I got your call I rushed down and searched the tunnels...I found you and you would not wake up, I thought you were hurt! I took you to repairs and nothing was wrong so I brought you back here-" Freddy rambled.

"I was so worried, Bonnie-!" He cried out, pulling Bonnie into a bone-crushing hug. Bonnie weakly hugged back, feeling a new sense of emptiness in him. All he could see was that poor boy...and now his poor family. Bonnie snapped himself out of his thoughts.

"Why are the lights dimmed? It's pretty early to be closing the Pizzaplex-" he said. Freddy looked down somberly.

"A...child went missing today. They had to lock the place up and look through every guest...before closing early for investigating..." He said.

"...oh." Bonnie responded quietly. Freddy glanced at him, worry visible in his face.

"Are you really ok, starshine...? You look troubled-"

As usual, Bonnie put on his happy facade he had mastered over the years.

He smiled warmly. "Of course, honey-bear...I'm just...my censors are still outa' whack-" he reassured. Freddy still seemed worried. Bonnie leaned forward to nuzzle his cheek softly. Freddy made a low growling noise and leaned into the touch. "I mean it, teddy. I'll be ok." He reassured. Freddy nodded at that. He gently lay Bonnie back down, stroking his ears affectionately. Bonnie whimpered and leaned into the touch. He wanted to push Freddy away, really. He did not deserve his love after what just did...but he could not bring himself to.

"Bon...this is the second time you blacked out like this, I am feeling you are keeping something from me...is everything truly ok?" He asked. Bonnie hesitated so Freddy placed gentle kisses on his forehead to a reassure him. Finally, Bonnie gave in.

"Freddy-" they were interrupted by a snapping noise. Freddy's attention was immediately diverted towards the clear wall where it came from.

"Wait here." He kissed Bonnie's forehead gently and approached the wall. The curtains were almost closed but there was a small opening in them. When Freddy peeked out however, he saw nothing.

"What was it-?" Bonnie asked. Freddy shook his head. "I did not see anything...but there is a lot of security out tonight, so it should not be anything to worry about." Freddy closed the curtains completely this time. He then made his way back to Bonnie. "I hate to leave...but Vanessa will come to check on us soon. You know how she feels about us sneaking around."

"And besides," Freddy added, ruffling the fur on Bonnie's head affectionately.

"You need sleep, silly-bunny." He smiled. Bonnie groaned dramatically.

"Noo~! I wanna' cuddle more-" he weakly reached his hands out. Freddy chuckled and took both of his hands. He gently kissed the back of his hands before carefully placing them back on the bunny.

"I want to as well, but you know the rules..." Freddy got up. He leaned down to peck Bonnie's forehead one more time before heading to the door. Before he left he turned to Bonnie again.

"I love you so much, starshine. Please do not forget to charge." He said. Bonnie smiled back.

"I love you too, hun."

Freddy nodded and left. As soon as his partner was gone, however, Bonnie felt his crushing guilt return. He decided he should not tell Freddy. Freddy could not be burdened with such a heavy weight on his shoulders, just like he should not have to live with this guilt Bonnie feels. He loves Freddy more than anything, but after today...he really does not feel deserving of his partner's love.

It can only go downhill from here.
